Oyebanji to Commission Ajoni LCDA's Modern Health Centre August 14 - Ogungbemi.
As part of the pragmatic steps to bolster quality healthcare delivery at the grassroots, the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji is to commission an ultra modern health centre renovated and upgraded by Prince Michael Ogungbemi-led administration at the Ajoni Local Council Development Area on August 14, 2026.
The renovated health centre located at Itapaji Ekiti, according to a statement released on Wednesday by the LCDA Chairman, in Ayedun Ekiti, was spearheaded by his administration to bring quality healthcare to the doorsteps of the rural dwellers.
Ogungbemi stated that the health centre was renovated by his administration to complement Oyebanji's efforts at ramping up robust and quality medicare to the citizens of the council.
The Council Boss said his administration, had since inception demonstrated high propensity for quality healthcare services that can reduce morbidity and mortality rates.
He added that his administration was taking proactive steps to enhance the life expectancy of the people through renovation of derelict health centres in the council area.
The Chairman disclosed that the well equipped health centre will reduce pressure on the secondary health facilities provided by the state government and offer emergency services that can tame untimely death among the rural dwellers.
He saluted Oyebanji-led administration for granting financial autonomy to the councils to be able to undertake legacy projects that can touch the lives of the citizens positively.
Ogungbemi said as part of the social inclusion policy of his administration, the Chairman will at the event distribute food palliatives and as well empower hundreds of residents of the council.
