Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining the state’s status as the safest state in Nigeria, assuring residents that his government would continue to strengthen the security architecture of the state to ensure security of lives and property across the state

The Governor gave the assurance on Monday in Ado Ekiti while presenting  100 newly purchased operational vehicles to security agencies in the state to further enhance their capacity to combat crime and respond effectively to security challenges. 

The beneficiary security agencies include the Nigerian Police, Department of State Service (DSS), Nigeria Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Road Safety Corps, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency , Nigeria Prison Service,  and the Amotekun Corps. 

Speaking during  presentation ceremony held at Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House, Aso Ekiti on Monday, Governor Oyebanji said the initiative is part of his administration’s sustained commitment to protecting lives and property as well as ensuring that Ekiti maintains the accolade of the safest and most secure state in Nigeria.

The Governor maintained that security had remained a top priority of his administration since assumption of office, noting that his government had, over the years, provided various forms of support to security agencies, including patrol vehicles, armoured personnel carriers, military vests, helmets and other protective equipment.

According to him, the latest provision of 100 security vehicles would further enhance the operational capacity of security personnel, particularly in patrol and field operations.

He added that the intervention is in addition to other investments and monthly financial support provided by his administration to security agencies operating in the state.

The Governor also used the opportunity to commend all security agencies operating in the state for their professionalism, skills and dexterity at combating crime as he urged them to intensify their activities ahead of the forthcoming inauguration slated for October and the presidential election in January. 

Governor Oyebanji, who stressed the need for increased visibility, faster response and greater operational agility added, “To our security chiefs, I say to whom much is given, much is expected. With the introduction of these vehicles, I expect to see increased action, strategic visibility, faster response and greater operational agility on the part of our men and women.”

He further urged security chiefs to ensure that the vehicles and other resources provided by the government were deployed effectively to protect residents and maintain security across Ekiti State.

“Today’s occasion is testament to the resolve of our administration to ensure the security of lives and property in Ekiti State remains the number one priority of our government. Since our assumption in office, we have shown serious commitment to the security of the citizens and this has led to the selection of Ekiti State as one of the most secured States in the country. 

“Two years ago, we also distributed patrol vehicles, armoured personnel carriers, military vests, helmets and other protective equipment to security agencies. Today, we are providing 100 units of security vehicles, primarily for the operations and monitoring of personnel and the implementation of the state’s security initiatives.

“Apart from the vehicles we are providing today, our administration will continue to support security agencies with all necessary resources allocated to their work. We remain committed to our regular monthly financial support to all the agencies, while also enhancing the capacity of our state-owned security institutions. He stated.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the Special Adviser Security Matters. Brig. General Ebenezer Ogundana (rtd), who said Governor Oyebanji’s administration has continued to demonstrate in practical terms strong commitment to the safety of lives and property in the state as evident in peace the state had continue to enjoy, maintained that the peaceful atmosphere  had attracted positive developments to the state.  

While explaining that the sustained peace has also contributed to Ekiti being ranked among the most peaceful and safest state in the country, Gen. Ogundana added that the new operational vehicles would enable security agencies to respond promptly to security challenges and further improve their mobility and effectiveness in protecting lives and property across the state.

In their separate goodwill messages, the representatives of the Commissioner of Police, DCP Mohammed Musa and the Commanding Officer, 148 Battalion, Ikere, Lt. Col. Dimka expressed their appreciation to the Governor for his continued support and cooperation with the security agencies in the state. They said the Governor’s commitment to strengthen the security architecture has contributed immensely to the relative peace and security being enjoyed across the state.

They assured the Governor that the vehicles would be deployed appropriately to further enhance their mobility, responsiveness and operational effectiveness of security personnel particularly in situations where prompt response is critical.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday.

The Governor in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, said the 66th birthday of the wife of the President offers an opportunity to celebrate her virtues, worth, impact and legacies.

Governor Oyebanji said Senator Tinubu has acquitted herself well in her role as the Mother of the Nation and her compassion has given succour and positively changed the lives of many Nigerians since she became First Lady in 2023.

Governor Oyebanji described Senator Tinubu as a pillar of support for the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, GCFR over the years and in the quest for a better, stronger and more prosperous nation.

He hailed the impact of Senator Tinubu as a teacher who contributed to the nation's manpower development, politician, first lady of Lagos State, a distinguished Senator in the National Assembly and now as the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Governor Oyebanji noted that the First Lady, through her Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), has touched many lives in virtually all parts of the country in the areas of education, poverty alleviation, empowerment of the vulnerable citizens like the orphans, physically challenged, the aged, market men and women, among others.

He emphasized that beneficiaries of the Senator Tinubu's legacies abound in Ekiti State noting that students from the state benefited from scholarships and laptops computers, female farmers got financial support and farming inputs while widows and senior citizens received foodstuff, cash grants and other largesse through Renewed Hope Initiative.

These, according to him, are in addition to the ICT centre facilitated for the Ekiti State University, Ado- Ekiti by the First Lady, whom he described as a good friend of Ekiti and a strong supporter of the administration’s development  efforts in the State. 

The Governor noted that Ekiti State has benefited from Senator Tinubu's milk of human kindness through her personal generosity and the platform of her pet project citing her recent visit to the State during which thousands of traders were empowered and the inauguration of a state-of-the-art ICT Centre at Ekiti State University under the Renewed Hope Initiative.

Governor Oyebanji, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode, described Hon Kolawole as an eminent and distinguished son of Ekiti who has contributed his quota to the development of the state to the admiration of all.

The Governor hailed Hon Kolawole for his passionate commitment to ideals of good governance, growth of democracy and always putting the interest of Ekiti on the front burner.

He said that the septuagenarian made notable impact as a member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly where he represented Efon Constituency between 2007 and 2011 and as Honourable Commissioner for Environment from 2015 to 2018.

According to him, Hon Kolawole ran a vibrant, issue-based and commendable campaign as the candidate of the PDP in the 2022 governorship election and displayed patriotism, maturity and spirit of politics without bitterness.

The Governor described Hon Kolawole as a true democrat and urged politicians to emulate his statesmanship. The Ekiti State Special Adviser on Special Education and Social Inclusion, Princess Adetoun Agboola, has led a monitoring tour of special education facilities across the state to assess ongoing and completed infrastructure projects.

The monitoring exercise covered the Inclusive School in Ikole-Ekiti, Government Special Schools in Ikoro, Ikere and Ido-Ekiti, as well as the proposed Inclusive School in Ijero-Ekiti, currently undergoing retrofitting.

During the visit to the Ikole-Ekiti facility, Agboola demonstrated practical teaching methods for students with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. She also demonstrated assessment strategies for screening children and identifying appropriate learning interventions.

The exercise recorded an emotional moment when a child who had reportedly not spoken since resumption for the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session spoke to the Special Adviser during the session, eliciting excitement among the teachers and participants.

Agboola also inspected holiday projects executed across the special schools and reviewed the completed projects donated as part of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s 2025 birthday interventions.

Among the projects inspected was the BAO Vision Studio in Ikere-Ekiti, a 21st-century compliant music studio established to nurture and promote the talents of children with visual impairment, many of whom have been identified as gifted singers.

The Special Adviser reaffirmed the commitment of the Oyebanji administration to promoting inclusive education and creating an environment where children with special needs can learn, develop their abilities and contribute meaningfully to society.

She charged teachers and other members of staff in the special schools to remain diligent, compassionate and professional in the discharge of their duties, stressing the need for patience and appropriate teaching approaches when working with children with special educational needs.

Agboola said the monitoring exercise was part of the government’s efforts to ensure that infrastructure and other interventions in special education facilities were properly implemented and effectively utilised for the benefit of the students.

The Global Chairman of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, Nigeria and Diaspora, Ambassador (Dr) Dare Owotomobi, has celebrated the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as a compassionate mother and woman of faith committed to serving humanity.

Owotomobi, in a birthday message personally signed by him on Monday, commended the First Lady for her contributions to the welfare of Nigerians, particularly women, youths, children, the elderly, persons living with disabilities and other vulnerable members of society.

The presentation ceremony, which will involve the formal handover of the vehicles to heads of the various security agencies, will take place at the Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House Grounds, Ado-Ekiti.

The provision of the operational vehicles underscores the determination of the Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji administration to rid the State of crime and criminality by equipping security agencies with the necessary logistics and operational support.

This initiative is part of the BAO administration’s sustained investment in the safety, welfare and overall wellbeing of residents, in line with its Shared Prosperity agenda.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of serving public servants and retirees, stressing that the contributions of the public service remain critical to effective governance and sustainable development.

Oyebanji reiterated the commitment while addressing the 12th Quarterly General Meeting of the Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries of the South-West Nigeria (ARHOSPS-SWN) held in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday. 

The meeting, hosted by the Ekiti State chapter of the association at its Secretariat and Relaxation Centre in Ado-Ekiti, brought together retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries from Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo States, alongside some serving Permanent Secretaries in Ekiti State Civil Service.

The Governor, who was represented at the meeting by the State Head of Service, Dr Folakemi Olomojobi, said his administration remained committed to strengthening public institutions and improving the welfare of retirees, while recognising the wealth of experience and institutional knowledge acquired by retired senior public servants in the course of their years of service.

Oyebanji disclosed that ₦250 million is being set aside monthly to address gratuity arrears, while substantial payments had been made towards pension and gratuity obligations at both the state and local government levels.

He stated that Ekiti was among the first states to implement the N70,000 minimum wage, while the government had also approved and paid a ₦20,000 across-board increment for retirees. 

Beyond pensions and gratuities, Oyebanji highlighted his administration's wider programmes covering infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, education, youth development, job creation, tourism and industrialisation. 

The Governor said strengthening these sectors was part of the broader effort to create an environment in which both serving workers and retirees could benefit from improved public services and economic opportunities.

In her goodwill message, the State’s Head of Service, Dr Folakemi Olomojobi appreciated the retired senior officers for their years of service, describing them as custodians of valuable knowledge, experience and institutional memory. 

Olomojobi, whose goodwill message was delivered by the Permanent Secretary in the Deputy Governor’s Office, Mr. Adeleke Adefolaju, urged them to continue mentoring serving officers and to document their experiences through memoirs, professional papers and biographies for the benefit of present and future generations.

The Southwest Regional President of the Association, Mr Demola Badejo, presented a report on his administration's first 365 days in office, x-raying a seven-point agenda covering media visibility, the O'DUA House Initiative, strategic partnerships, mobilisation and inclusion, relationship building, patronage and funding, as well as advocacy and engagement with government. 

Welcoming delegates to the meeting, the President of the Ekiti State Chapter of the Association, Mr Oluwole Ariyo, described Ekiti as a state to watch in the South-West, citing developments in tourism, infrastructure, education and healthcare. 

He attributed the state's progress to what he described as the Governor's accountability and prudent management of public resources.

Ariyo also commended the Governor for generously supporting the successful hosting of the regional meeting . He further appealed to the Governor, public-spirited individuals and other stakeholders to support the completion of the association's Secretariat project in Ado-Ekiti.

The meeting equally featured a keynote address titled “The Doctrine of Neutrality, Impartiality and Anonymity,” delivered on behalf of Elder S.O. Bankole by retired Permanent Secretary, Mr Kunle Olofin. 

The address stressed the importance of neutrality and impartiality in the public service and urged public officers to provide political leaders with objective and honest advice in the interest of good governance.

‎The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, Hon. Ibrahim Kunle Olarenwaju, has said creating job opportunities for youths will be among his priorities if elected, stressing the need for legislative representation that delivers tangible benefits to constituents.

‎Hon. Olarenwaju stated this while delivering a keynote teaching titled “The Art of Effective Representation: From Constituency Needs to Legislative Action,”

‎during the training of members of the Ekiti Youth Parliament, where he drew from his experience as a former lawmaker to emphasise the importance of responsive and result-oriented representation.

The former lawmaker said his previous experience had given him a strong understanding of legislative processes and the demands of effective representation, expressing his readiness to build on his past efforts if returned to the legislative house.

‎He urged the Youth lawmakers to deploy motions, bills and oversight functions to address issues affecting their constituents, while maintaining regular engagement with the grassroots.

‎Hon. Olarenwaju also advised young parliamentarians to be diplomatic in managing responsibilities within and outside their statutory functions and ensure that their constituents are carried along in policies and decisions that affect them.

The Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort in Ekiti State has been recognised as the Best Resort in Nigeria at the Top 100 Travel Icons in Nigeria Awards.

The resort’s management company, Glocient Hospitality, also received recognition as one of the Top Travel Companies in Nigeria at the awards organised to celebrate outstanding contributions to the country’s tourism and hospitality industry.

The twin honours have further drawn attention to Ikogosi, one of Ekiti State’s major tourism destinations, and its growing potential to attract tourists, business travellers, wellness seekers and visitors from different parts of the country and beyond.

Located in Ikogosi-Ekiti, the resort is renowned for its unique natural attraction where warm and cold springs meet at a confluence.

Under the management of Glocient Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Cavista Holdings, the resort has expanded its facilities and services beyond the natural springs.

Its offerings now include accommodation, wellness activities, conferences, corporate retreats, social events and outdoor leisure, making it suitable for both tourism and business purposes.

According to Glocient Hospitality, the awards recognise organisations that have contributed to the development and effective management of tourism destinations with strong natural and commercial potential.

The company’s Hospitality Manager, Francis Ogosi, FIH, said the recognition was a result of the dedication and commitment of the team to improving the resort and raising service standards.

Ogosi said the awards also showed that Nigeria’s tourism destinations could compete favourably in the global market when properly managed and supported with investment and quality service.

He said, “These recognitions show that with the right management, investment and service, Nigeria’s tourism assets can become destinations that attract visitors from home and abroad.”

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has charged members of the state's Youth Parliament to cultivate strong leadership skills, uphold high ethical standards, and embrace selfless service in discharging their legislative duties. Represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Oyeniyi Adebayo, during a one-day capacity-building training for the 5th Assembly held at the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti, the Governor emphasized that the parliament offers a vital platform for youths to gain governance experience and serve their constituents effectively. He noted that since October 2022, his administration has heavily invested in education, agriculture, sports, and youth development, including the establishment of a full-fledged Ministry of Youth Development, to ensure young people become self-reliant and productive citizens.

Delivering an insightful keynote teaching titled “The Art of Effective Representation: From Constituency Needs to Legislative Action,” Keynote Speaker and facilitator Hon. Ibrahim Kunle Olarenwaju drew from his national legislative experience to school the young lawmakers. He detailed the three core constitutional functions of the legislature, law-making, oversight, and representation, while cautioning them against common hurdles such as bureaucratic delays, resource constraints, and competing interests. Hon. Olarenwaju urged the participants to look beyond physical projects and master how to translate grassroots needs into tangible legislative outcomes through proper motions, bills, and continuous community engagement.

In his goodwill message, Technical Advisor on Youth Inclusion, Hon. Ayo Ojo, commended Governor Oyebanji for putting together such a remarkable program, noting that legislative processes and governance demand deep discipline, integrity, and intellectual maturity. He challenged the young parliamentarians to approach the training with utmost seriousness and ensure that the knowledge acquired translates into purposeful contributions on the floor of the House and positive impacts on the lives of Ekiti youths.

The recent intervention of Her Excellency, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, through the WAOH Renewal Back-to-School Scholarship Programme, is another remarkable plus to the impact of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration in the education sector.

Supporting 50 indigent pupils, including 19 transitioning from primary to secondary school, with financial assistance and essential educational and personal materials demonstrates a genuine commitment to ensuring that poverty does not become a barrier to education.

According to Arch. Tope Ogunleye, the intervention complements the broader education initiatives of the BAO administration, which include improving learning environments, teacher development, recruitment and retraining, and expanding access to quality education.

The Special Adviser to Ekiti State Governor on Special Education and Social Inclusion, Princess Adetoun Agboola, has formally received the newly crowned Queen Moremi of the South West Association of the Deaf (SWAD), Queen Abiodun Idowu Wonderful.

Queen Idowu was warmly ushered into the office of the Special Adviser by a delegation of prominent female deaf leaders, notably Mrs. Omoniyi Omotanwa Obadare, a respected member of the Ekiti State Disability Board and Mrs. Omoboja Ogunkuade Former Woman Leader of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) among Others.

The royal pageant, which showcased the rich cultural heritage and brilliance of the deaf community, took place on August 6, 2026, at the Badagry Grammar School Hall. The fiercely contested competition featured twelve exceptional contestants, two representing each of the six Southwest states: Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Ogun, and Lagos.

During the event, contestants dazzled the audience and judges by demonstrating their unique cultural dance skills as recommended by the panel. Participants also engaged in a rigorous question-and-answer segment, selected via a random number-picking process.

Standing out amongst the stellar lineup of twelve contestants, Queen Abiodun Idowu Wonderful from Ekiti State clinched the prestigious title by securing the highest score of the competition. She won through her striking bold appeal, outstanding performance, and unshakable confidence throughout all phases of the event.

Receiving the newly crowned queen, Princess Adetoun Agboola heaped commendations on her for her stellar and exceptional performance at the pageant. She also congratulated the female deaf leaders for their dedication and mentorship, assuring them of the continuous support of the state government through her office. Princess Agboola further expressed her profound excitement, noting that the Governor would be filled with immense joy to see that his most cherished constituents, Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in Ekiti State, are standing out and excelling brilliantly among their contemporaries from other states.

Highlighting a glowing legacy of excellence, Princess Agboola recalled that the state's disability community has consistently brought immense pride to Ekiti. She noted that at the last National Sports Festival that was held in Ogun State, athletes from the disability community secured the state's only gold medals. Furthermore, she celebrated the academic and creative brilliance of students from the Government Special School, Ido-Ekiti, and the Government Special School, Ikoro-Ekiti, who triumphed in state art competitions. Among them, Mr. Eniola Awelewa stood out remarkably, advancing to the national level where he proudly clinched a prestigious fourth-place finish for Ekiti State.

This royal visit and these landmark achievements further reinforce the Ekiti State Government's steadfast commitment to championing social inclusion, empowering persons with disabilities, and celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of citizens across all walks of life.

Senator Yemi Adaramodu has facilitated the construction of a six-classroom block at Ogotun High School, Ogotun-Ekiti, as part of his ongoing interventions aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure across Ekiti South Senatorial District.

The foundation for the project was officially laid on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, on behalf of His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Adebayo Ademeso, the Ologotun of Ogotun-Ekiti, by Chief Diisu Bakare, the Elemo of Ogotun-Ekiti, alongside Chief Kehinde Akinlusi, the Olotin of Ogotun-Ekiti. The intervention is expected to provide additional conducive learning spaces for students and support effective teaching and learning in the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Principal of Ogotun High School, Mr. Martins Akinluyi Babatunde, expressed appreciation on behalf of the students, staff and people of Ogotun-Ekiti for the project, describing it as a welcome intervention in the development of education in the community. He also prayed for success in Senator Adaramodu’s future endeavours.

The Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, has charged 50 indigent students benefiting from her educational support scheme to remain focused, disciplined and committed to their studies, urging them not to allow their present circumstances limit their dreams.

Dr Oyebanji gave the charge in Ado-Ekiti while distributing school materials and financial assistance to the beneficiaries under the Renewal Back-to-School Scholarship Programme organised by the Widows and Orphans Hope Support Foundation.

Represented by the Deputy Governor of the state, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, the Governor’s wife described the initiative as one of the key interventions under the Widows, Aged and Orphans Hope (WAOH) programme, aimed at improving the lives and livelihoods of vulnerable women and children.

She said the programme represented a deliberate investment in the future of the beneficiaries, stressing that education remained a powerful tool to transform lives and creating opportunities for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

According to her, 19 beneficiaries transitioning from primary to secondary school would receive ₦90,000 each, to be paid directly to their schools to cover feeding expenses in boarding schools, while each student would also receive ₦10,000 as pocket money.

She added that the beneficiaries would receive essential educational and personal items, including sandals, blankets, pillowcases, raincoats or umbrellas, bedsheets, mattresses, canvas shoes, towels, clothing items, pyjamas, mosquito nets, cutlery, torchlights and batteries, reading lamps, handkerchiefs, buckets, washing basins, socks, lockers and chairs.

Other items, she said, included bathroom slippers, sportswear, cupboards, appropriate school uniforms, blue bedsheets and other materials required to make their return to school comfortable and conducive to learning.

Dr Oyebanji said the remaining 31 beneficiaries in primary schools would receive ₦25,000 each for their upkeep, in addition to essential educational and personal items.

She urged the students to study diligently, respect their teachers and guardians, maintain discipline and remain conscious of the responsibilities that come with the opportunity they have been given.

The Governor’s wife reaffirmed her commitment to support and mentor children and young people, noting that the transformative power of education made it imperative for stakeholders like Premium Trust Bank to invest in the development and future of the younger generation.

Earlier, the Coordinator of the Widows, Aged and Orphans Hope Support Foundation, Dr Kemi Dairo, said the initiative was designed to ensure that vulnerable children were not denied quality education because of financial constraints.

Dairo said the intervention had given the beneficiaries an opportunity not only to attend school but also to pursue their aspirations with greater confidence and dignity.

“As schools resume this week across Ekiti State, I am delighted to announce another significant intervention approved by Her Excellency to further improve the welfare, discipline, monitoring and academic performance of the beneficiaries". She said.

She disclosed that all expenses relating to the boarding arrangements of the affected students had been fully settled by the Governor’s wife through the Foundation in partnership with Premium Trust Bank.

According to her, parents and guardians of the beneficiaries are not expected to provide additional items or make financial contributions towards the boarding arrangements, as the Foundation had made provision for the necessary support required for the students to succeed.

Also speaking, a representative of the Managing Director of Premium Trust Bank, Mrs Bolanle Suyi-Aluko, highlighted the importance of supporting vulnerable children and investing in education as a means of strengthening the future of society.

In their goodwill messages, the Chairman Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof. Femi Akinwumi; Commissioner for Education, Dr Bimpe Aderiye; and Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Peju Babafemi, called for greater collaboration among stakeholders to provide vulnerable children with opportunities to thrive.

They stressed the need for collective action to build brighter futures for the beneficiaries and raise responsible leaders capable of contributing positively to society.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Darasimi Fadoju expressed appreciation to Dr Oyebanji for the gesture, promising that the beneficiaries would reciprocate the support by taking their studies seriously, maintaining good conduct and becoming worthy ambassadors of Ekiti State.

Senator Yemi Adaramodu has commenced the construction of the Idasa / Idi Ose Road in Igbara Odo Ekiti, further expanding his ongoing road infrastructure interventions across Ekiti South.

The new road project is designed to link with the ongoing St. Stephen Road project in the town, also facilitated by Senator Adaramodu, creating a connected road network that will improve accessibility and movement within the community.

Meanwhile, installation of streetlights is ongoing along the St. Stephen Road, adding a critical public lighting component to the infrastructure upgrade. The twin road interventions are expected to enhance connectivity, ease transportation and contribute to the socio-economic development of Igbara Odo-Ekiti.
