Today, Ogotun-Ekiti has every reason to celebrate as we witness the foundation laying of the Police Division in our community—a landmark development that will strengthen security and open a new chapter of progress for our people.

This achievement is a reflection of purposeful leadership, strategic representation, unity, and effective advocacy. It is also a reminder that when our leaders work together in the interest of the people, meaningful development becomes possible.

We sincerely commend and appreciate Hon. Femi Ige for his commitment, political wisdom, and continued interest in the growth and development of Ogotun-Ekiti. His contribution to this achievement deserves to be remembered and recognized by our community. He has once again demonstrated that leadership is about creating opportunities and bringing meaningful government presence closer to the people.

We equally celebrate Hon. Tolulope Michael Ige (Hon. Tolu Ige), Leader of Government Business, Ekiti State House of Assembly, for his unwavering commitment to Ogotun. His consistent efforts, accessibility, and determination to attract development to our community are worthy of commendation. His representation continues to demonstrate that Ogotun has a voice that is being heard at the highest levels of government.

Our appreciation also goes to Hon. Olaluwoye Ropo, whose support, commitment, and contribution to the collective development of Ogotun have been significant. His involvement further demonstrates the importance of having leaders who understand that the progress of Ogotun must remain a shared responsibility.

We cannot overlook the invaluable support and fatherly leadership of His Royal Majesty, the Ologotun of Ogotun-Ekiti. We sincerely appreciate Kabiyesi for his wisdom, cooperation, prayers, and support for initiatives that promote the peace, security, and development of our community. His Royal Majesty's support continues to provide an important foundation for progress in Ogotun.

Special recognition must also go to Hon. Ojuawo (AVM, Rtd.), whose efforts and influence were instrumental in facilitating this important project. His strong security background and commitment to improving security infrastructure have helped bring this vision to reality. We deeply appreciate his advocacy and service to the people of Ogotun-Ekiti.

The establishment of a full Police Division in Ogotun is more than the construction of a building. It represents stronger security, greater confidence, better protection of lives and property, and a brighter environment for economic and social development.

This is what purposeful politics should produce—results that directly touch the lives of the people.

Today, we celebrate the project, but we also celebrate the leaders and institutions that made it possible.
