NIPOST Ekiti State Seeks Renewed Partnership with EKSCOTECH.

‎The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), Ijero-Ekiti Division, has sought a renewed partnership with the Ekiti State College of Technology (EKSCOTECH), Ijero-Ekiti, with a view to strengthening collaboration and enhancing the efficient delivery of postal and logistics services to the Institution.
‎The State Postal Manager, Mr. Adeniyi Adebayo, stated this when he led a team from the Ijero Division on a familiarisation visit to EKSCOTECH. He explained that the visit was aimed at acquainting the Institution with the rebranded NIPOST and its expanded range of services.
‎According to him, NIPOST now offers a wider range of services, including Speedpost, e-commerce and logistics, among others. He expressed the agency’s readiness to establish a more robust working relationship with EKSCOTECH for the mutual benefit of both organisations.
‎Responding, the Rector of EKSCOTECH, Dr. Olufemi Olubamise, appreciated the NIPOST team for the visit, recalling the prominence of postal services in Nigeria, particularly in the early 1980s.
‎Dr. Olubamise assured the delegation of the Institution’s willingness to synergise with NIPOST, particularly in enhancing the speedy and efficient dispatch of official correspondence and documents, including academic transcripts.
‎Also speaking, the Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel Ayodeji, advocated renewed collaboration between the two organisations to improve the timely delivery of mails and other official documents.
‎While noting that postal services remain relevant and actively utilised in many countries around the world, Mr. Ayodeji observed that some Nigerians had, over time, moved away from the use of conventional postal services.
‎In his response, the State Postal Manager assured the Institution that EKSCOTECH would receive good value for its money through a renewed partnership with NIPOST, adding that the agency was prepared to provide efficient and reliable services to the College.
‎Accompanying the State Postal Manager on the visit were Mrs. Sade Ogunmola, Mr. Ajileye, Mr. Ogbayi Paul, Mr. Omonijo Felix and Mrs. Owobamire.
