The Ekiti State Chapter of the City Boy Movement has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Professor Ayodele, to discuss the development of the university, students’ welfare and youth engagement.

During the visit, Professor Ayodele commended the Federal Government’s NELFUND programme for its positive impact on the university community, particularly students. He noted that the initiative had helped ease financial burdens and transform students’ worries into positive outcomes.

The Vice Chancellor also commended the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for its commitment to strengthening tertiary education through endowment funds and other interventions. He specifically acknowledged the recent donation of an ICT Experience Centre to EKSU by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, describing such initiatives as valuable investments in the future of students and the university.

Professor Ayodele further highlighted the importance of continuity in policies and programmes that directly improve the welfare, education and prospects of young people.

The City Boy Movement appreciated the Vice Chancellor for his support and commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while expressing its readiness to strengthen engagement with students and young people across the state.

The visit also coincided with the Vice Chancellor’s second anniversary in office, providing an opportunity for the Movement to acknowledge and celebrate his contributions to the development of EKSU.

The delegation expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that create better opportunities for young people and students.  #cityboymovement #cityboymovementekiti #cbmekiti
