Fasuyi Hails Release of Eda Oniyo Kidnap Victims, Commiserates with Bereaved Family.

The Senator representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Cyril Fasuyi, has welcomed the release of the victims abducted by kidnappers in Eda Oniyo, Ilejemeje Local Government Area of Ekiti State, describing their freedom as a huge relief to their families and the entire district.

Senator Fasuyi applauded the Ekiti State Government, led by Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and the security agencies for their resilience, strategic coordination, and unwavering commitment, which culminated in the successful rescue of the victims. He noted that the outcome reflects the government's steadfast resolve to protect lives and confront criminal elements threatening the peace of the state.

The lawmaker, however, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of one of the abducted victims while in captivity. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear this painful and irreparable loss.
