‎The Rector, Ekiti State College of Technology (EKSCOTECH), Ijero-Ekiti, Dr. Olufemi Olubamise, has congratulated the Leader of the Senate, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, CON on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.

‎In a release signed by the Polytechnic's Senior Public Relations Officer, Akintayo Olowojebutu, Dr. Olubamise described Senator Bamidele as an exceptional statesman, visionary leader and distinguished son of Ekiti State whose unwavering commitment to educational advancement, human capital development and national service has continued to inspire generations of Nigerians.

‎The Rector particularly commended the Senate Leader for his remarkable support and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Ekiti State College of Technology, noting that his interventions have significantly enhanced the Polytechnic's capacity to deliver quality technical and vocational education.

‎Dr. Olubamise highlighted Senator Bamidele's donation of a solar-powered borehole to the Polytechnic, describing it as a timely intervention that has greatly improved access to potable water, particularly in the students' hostels, thereby promoting a healthier and more conducive learning environment.

‎The Rector also lauded the Senate Leader for donating a fully equipped ambulance to the institution, noting that the intervention has strengthened the Polytechnic's Paramedicine Programme by providing practical training opportunities for students while also enhancing community relations through improved collaboration with the General Hospital, Ijero-Ekiti, in emergency healthcare delivery.
