As the ancient town of Ise-Ekiti rolls out the drums in joyous celebration, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ekiti South Constituency 1, Engr. Toyin Okoro of Odo-Ise Quarters, has joined illustrious sons and daughters of the kingdom to congratulate the monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Adetunji Ayodele David Ajayi (Aweloye II), the Arinjale of Ise-Ekiti, on the auspicious occasion of his 25th coronation anniversary (Silver Jubilee), Scheduled for August 1, 2026.

In a goodwill message brimming with gratitude and reverence, Engr. Okoro expressed profound thanksgiving to Almighty God for preserving the life of the revered monarch and granting him a reign characterized by remarkable transformation, peace, and unprecedented development. Commending the visionary leadership of Oba Ajayi over the past two and a half decades, Engr. Okoro noted that Ise-Ekiti has witnessed tremendous strides across various facets of community life under the monarch's watch, ranging from progressive infrastructural expansion and communal harmony to the steadfast preservation of cultural heritage.

"Under the visionary and unifying leadership of Kabiesi, greater things have continuously been witnessed in Ise-Ekiti. His reign has brought stability, dignity, and monumental progress to our people, and we are immensely proud of his legacy,"  Engr. Okoro remarked.

Looking ahead, the APC candidate offered heartfelt prayers for the monarch, asking the Almighty to grant him sound health, divine wisdom, and many more years on the throne of his forebears. In an optimistic and celebratory tone, Engr. Okoro prayed that the community would joyfully gather again in good health to celebrate the monarch's 50th and 100th coronation anniversaries.

The Silver Jubilee celebration will bring dignitaries, political actors, traditional rulers, and well-wishers from across Ekiti State and the diaspora to Ise-Ekiti to honor a revered king whose quarter-century on the throne remains a shining testament to impactful traditional leadership.
