Venite University Launches Student Programme Representatives Forum, Elects Pioneer Leaders.
Venite University officially launched its pioneer Student Programme Representatives Forum (SPRF) on July 1st, 2025, with the election of departmental leaders into principal positions. The SPRF is a newly established platform created to actively involve students in institutional discourse, address pressing welfare concerns, and ensure that the student voice remains central in decision-making processes in a bid to deepen student-administration engagement.
Held at the university’s Adminstration Conference Hall, the inauguration was witnessed by key members of the university’s management, including Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Kelvin A. Aduloju, Registrar Dr. Ezekiel A. Agbaje, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. F.T. Akinola and her deputy Mr. Samuel L. Adekale, as well as Barr. Ayomide Giwa, representing the university library.
Emerging from the election was Pipeloluwa Babatunde, a 200-level student of Physiotherapy, who clinched the position of Governor. Taiwo Oluwatuyi, a 100-level Nursing student, was elected Scribe, while the role of Speaker was taken by Iseoluwa Adeyefa, also of the Nursing Department, 200 level.
