Omoluabi Group Hail Tinubu on His Economic, Infrastructural and Political Reforms, Says Reform Agenda is Sustainable.

Omoluabi Group Hail Tinubu on His Economic, Infrastructural and Political Reforms, Says Reform Agenda is Sustainable.

A prominent socio- cultural and political group in the southwest, Omoluabi Team Alliance also known as Egbe Omoluabi, during the week hailed  the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu' s Federal Government- led administration on giant strides achieved so far in less than two.years. The socio -cultural and political group through its National Convener, Omoluabi Dr.Jayeola Afolabi made this known on radio Midas 90.5FM in Ado Ekiti as guest and public analyst. while on a radio programme  as a guest and public analyst.

The National leader of Omoluabi Group, spoke on key national issues as he took his time to reel out areas where the giant strides of Mr.President are seen to be achieving results on a gradual pace. In his words, it is.an undisputable fact that there is hunger and that the prices of market commodities are increasing on a daily basis but expressed optimism that the situation is only for a while .

He said there was a need to express satisfaction  at some other programmes and campaign promises that have been achieved so far while some other programmes are undergoing maturity in the incubation  room. We are hopeful that all will be achieved soon.  The group however said programmes and projects embarked upon by Mr President are no doubt sustainable and in the long term will benefit Nigerians now and their unborn children.

Reeling out some of these key areas, he said Nigerians must begin to admire and admit the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the areas of Education, Agriculture, infrastructures to include the Lagos- Calabar coastal high way, Revamping, refurbishing moribund government -owned refineries and supporting privately  -owned like the Dangote refinery,  local government autonomy, tax reforms, establishing cattle ranches, decentralizing government -owned special agencies and outfits across geopolitical zones, immigration reforms and many more.

The group said Nigerians must begin to drop flamboyant lifestyles and adjust to the realities of the moment.  One core strength of the administration of the incumbent administration is the determination of the President to address key areas and sectors of the country that needs to be restructured for the sake of equity, fairness and justice among the various major ethnic groups that make up the country. Egbe Omoluabi however, appealed to State Governors to allow  the supreme Court judgement on local government autonomy to be fully implemented in all the 774 LGAs'  for the common  benefit of the people. The group warned that any state governor whose body language is not positive towards such an agenda of Mr.President should be seen as an enemy of the people and an enemy to democracy. The group frowned at any Governor in the Southwest who refused to bring in meaningful development to the States under their watch despite Mr. President' s effort at making federal allocations disbursed promptly to the 36 States of the federation.

The group however, advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to give up on the tax reform bill, local government  autonomy, completion of ongoing refinery projects and issuance of licences to foreign investors who are interested in building refineries and trade on the Nigerian soil. Passionately, the National Convener appealed to Nigerians to exercise more patience for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to steer the ship of the nation to an enviable spot  that will be a destination hub for investors globally.
The group however wishes Nigerians happy Christmas and a brand new year 2025 in advance as the yuletide season continues.

I find joy in governance when our policies positively impact the people” , Says Oyebanji.

I find joy in governance when our policies positively impact the people” , Says Oyebanji.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji has said that his greatest joy and fulfillment as Governor comes from seeing the positive impact of his administration’s policies on the lives of the people, particularly through their happiness and tangible progress.

In his short remarks at the service, Governor Oyebanji dis a brief review of his performance as Governor in the last two years, and said he was satisfied with the level of achievements recorded by his government across critical sectors. He added that the administration has consistently met the needs and aspirations of the people, while also commending residents for responding positively to policies and programmes initiated by his government.

Governor Oyebanji who said he was divinely called to serve the people rather than amassing wealth, attributed the administration's achievements to divine intervention in the affairs of the state.

“I thank God for the grace to be the Governor of Ekiti State but apart from that, the office means nothing to me, that’s the truth. If it is not to serve the people, it makes no meaning to me. But it makes meaning when I see people responding positively to government policies, when government policies bring joy and progress, that’s the only time the office makes meaning to me.

“I am always happy that at least what we are doing resonate well with the people and anytime I drive round the state and I see communities that didn’t have light for 50 years having light, I rejoice within me and I thank God for it. When I see roads been constructed, when workers salaries are been paid, when pensioners get their gratuities, when I see our health infrastructure been upgraded, it gives me joy and I give God all the glory”.
