OYEBANJI CONGRATULATES VICE PRESIDENT KASHIM SHETTIMA ON 60TH BIRTHDAY.
Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a congratulatory statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, Governor Oyebanji described Vice President Shettima as a worthy patriot and exemplary statesman.
The Governor hailed the Vice President as an embodiment of loyalty, honour, and selfless service, noting that he has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of Nigeria. He added that Shettima is a servant-leader who continually deploys his time, energy, and intellect for the good of the nation.
Governor Oyebanji also commended the Vice President for his steadfast support and collaboration with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in driving the Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said is repositioning the country for sustainable economic growth and development across critical sectors.
Describing the Vice President as a passionate advocate of good governance, the Governor noted that Senator Shettima has devoted a significant part of his life to public service, making impactful contributions as an economist, banker, public servant, Senator, two-term Governor, and now as Vice President.
The Governor further described Vice President Shettima as a good friend of Ekiti State, acknowledging his consistent support for the State’s development and his regular visits on behalf of the President.
Governor Oyebanji prayed God to grant the Vice President long life, sound health, and many more years of dedicated service to Nigeria.
“On behalf of my family, the Government and good people of Ekiti State, I wish our dear Vice President many happy returns of the day in good health and excellent spirit. I pray that God continues to guide and strengthen him as he renders quality service to our fatherland,” the statement added.
