ADARAMODU FLAGS OFF CONSTRUCTION OF SIX-CLASSROOM BLOCK AT OGOTUN HIGH SCHOOL, OGOTUN-EKITI.
Senator Yemi Adaramodu has facilitated the construction of a six-classroom block at Ogotun High School, Ogotun-Ekiti, as part of his ongoing interventions aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure across Ekiti South Senatorial District.
The foundation for the project was officially laid on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, on behalf of His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Adebayo Ademeso, the Ologotun of Ogotun-Ekiti, by Chief Diisu Bakare, the Elemo of Ogotun-Ekiti, alongside Chief Kehinde Akinlusi, the Olotin of Ogotun-Ekiti. The intervention is expected to provide additional conducive learning spaces for students and support effective teaching and learning in the school.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Principal of Ogotun High School, Mr. Martins Akinluyi Babatunde, expressed appreciation on behalf of the students, staff and people of Ogotun-Ekiti for the project, describing it as a welcome intervention in the development of education in the community. He also prayed for success in Senator Adaramodu’s future endeavours.
The event was attended by the APC Chairman, Ekiti South West Local Government, Hon. Olajide Felix; Hon. Faroye Gbenga; the two APC Women Leaders in Ogotun-Ekiti; the Councillor representing Ward 10, Hon. Toba Olofindare; the Ward 10 Chairman, Mr. Akinbowale Francis; Hon. Francis Ojo Alo, a representative of the school; and other community leaders, stakeholders and residents.
