Owotomobi Celebrates Oluremi Tinubu at 66, Hails Humanitarian Efforts.

The Global Chairman of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, Nigeria and Diaspora, Ambassador (Dr) Dare Owotomobi, has celebrated the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as a compassionate mother and woman of faith committed to serving humanity.

Owotomobi, in a birthday message personally signed by him on Monday, commended the First Lady for her contributions to the welfare of Nigerians, particularly women, youths, children, the elderly, persons living with disabilities and other vulnerable members of society.

He also praised her commitment to peaceful coexistence among Nigerians of different religious and ethnic backgrounds, noting that her Christian faith and the President's Islamic faith demonstrate that people of different religious backgrounds can live together peacefully and respectfully.

According to him, Senator Tinubu's humanitarian activities, from the New Era Foundation during her years as First Lady of Lagos State to the Renewed Hope Initiative, have provided support, empowerment and opportunities for many Nigerians.

Owotomobi said the initiatives had reflected the First Lady's compassion and commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable Nigerians, irrespective of their ethnic, religious or regional backgrounds.

“Having watched your service to humanity from afar, Your Excellency, you have distinguished yourself through sincerity of purpose, humility and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people,” he said.

The Global Chairman also described Senator Tinubu as a supportive partner to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying her wisdom, prayers and counsel had remained important to the President in the discharge of his responsibilities.

He said the First Lady's humanitarian disposition complemented the people-oriented philosophy of the President, adding that their shared commitment to the welfare of Nigerians demonstrated the wisdom in the saying that “iron sharpens iron.”

Owotomobi further urged Senator Tinubu to continue providing wise counsel and constructive support to the President while deepening her humanitarian interventions for Nigerians.

He prayed that God would continue to protect and strengthen the First Lady, granting her many more years in good health, peace, wisdom, fulfilment and greater accomplishments.

He also prayed for long life and good health for the First Lady and the President, wishing them the opportunity to witness the impact of their contributions to the lives of Nigerians.

Quoting a Yoruba adage, Owotomobi said, “Onílè ni kí ó jẹ́ kí ilé rẹ̀ kí ó má bàjẹ́; agbára òjò kì í ran onílè l’ọwọ́, bí kò ṣe iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ rẹ̀.”

He explained that the saying emphasised the responsibility of those entrusted with the care of a household or community to remain vigilant and committed to protecting and improving it.

The Global Chairman, on behalf of members and supporters of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, Nigeria and Diaspora, wished Senator Oluremi Tinubu a happy 66th birthday and prayed that her life would continue to be a blessing to Nigeria and humanity.
