Olojo Festival: BOE Donates 600 Notebooks, 100 Uniforms to Ile-Ife Pupils.

As part of activities marking the 2026 Olojo Festival, members of Bobamayegun Odua Elites (BOE) have donated 600 notebooks and 100 school uniforms to pupils of two primary schools in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

The beneficiaries of the gesture, which took place on Monday, September 28, 2026, were pupils of St. Peter’s Primary School, Sabo, and Salvation Army Primary School, Oke Atan, both in Ile-Ife.

The donation formed part of BOE’s activities to commemorate this year’s Olojo Festival, an annual cultural celebration in the ancient city of Ile-Ife.

Speaking on the initiative, the Founder of Bobamayegun Odua Elites and Olori Obalasye Agunloye II of Iraye Kingdom, Ile Ife, HRM, Olori Oluwatoyin Adedire-Elugbemi, said the gesture was aimed at making a positive difference in the lives of the pupils while encouraging them to aspire to become responsible and useful members of society.

According to her, the initiative was not merely about presenting gifts to the pupils but also about inspiring them, providing positive role models and encouraging them to recognise the importance of education in shaping their future.

She urged the pupils to take their studies seriously and make good use of the educational materials provided to them.

In his address, the President of BOE and Aare Bobatolu of Ejesi Kingdom, Ile Ife, Chief Tonade Ajibola, thanked members of the organisation for their support, cooperation and commitment to the initiative.

He said BOE remained committed to contributing positively to society through interventions that could improve the wellbeing and prospects of members of the community.

The President stressed that the organisation would continue to explore ways of making meaningful contributions to society, particularly through initiatives that support education and young people.

Also speaking, a distinguished member of BOE, Yeye Asiwaju Adesola Olorunsola, charged the pupils to reciprocate the gesture by taking their education seriously and demonstrating good character.

She urged them to focus on their studies, obey their teachers and parents, and remain disciplined in their academic and personal lives.

She said the support provided by BOE should motivate the pupils to work harder and strive towards becoming responsible citizens who would contribute positively to their families and society.
