Hon Ojuawo hosts Stakeholders Engagement  to request for Constituents Demand.
Hon (AVM rtd) Ojuawo Rufus Adeniyi, Member of House of Representatives representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1 held a stakeholders engagement to demand for his people request.

The engagement was well attended by the representatives of Royal fathers from the constituents, including the former Deputy Governor, Deputy Chief of Staff, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Iyalojas, Party Leaders, youths and Artisans representative and member of civil society.

Hon Ojuawo highlighted  his 41days stewardship in the house before the weeks recess by the House of Representatives. 

'I welcome you and thank you for honouring me even at short notice to you. As promised during my electoral campaign that I will not be far from you and always be available to take your request at every budget circle, I'm here to take your request  before we commence budgeting for next fiscal year.

'You voted for me to give you quality representation at the green chamber therefore i have started in earnest through a motion on introduction of Leadership training in our schools from primary school through tertiary education for our youth to be responsive and responsible for their actions. Equally, i represented the bill on establishment of Federal College of Agriculture in Ise Ekiti that was earlier worked upon by Senator Abiodun Olujimi during the 9th Assembly and more bills and motions are waiting for presentation after the resumption of the house', Ojuawo added. 

In his response, former deputy Governor Surveyor Abiodun Aluko appreciated  the achievements of Hon Ojuawo, 'he's an exceptional and exemplary politician who is worth of emulation, 'i enjoin you to keep it up'. Suv Aluko sought support for Hon Ojuawo.

 'Let us continue to give him neccessary support for him to use his wealth of experience to bring more dividends  of democracy to our constituents.. 

In his remarks, Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Otunba Kayode Fasae said the ' First of it's kind event, was a paradigm shift from the last, where elected officials only cone once in four years to seek for votes without returning to give accounts of stewardship. 


Also, Prof. Patrick Tedela, Hon Commissioner for Capacity Development and Training admonished Hon Ojuawo to keep the good work and harmonious relationship he has started with the constituents alive, 'it is noble, we need to applaud you for this feedback and request from the constituents, a very good development and great departure from the past' Prof Tedela concluded. Party Chieftains appreciates Hon Ojuawo for uncommon leadership and commitment to the  welfare of his constituents at all time.

In the same vein, various requests such as grading of road to farm settlements, rehabilitation of township roads, construction of culvert, renovations of palace and town Halls, Empowerment, provision of Solar electricity, construction of ICt centers and etc were presented by the royal fathers for their communities, Iyalojas, and youths from the constituents, Ikere, Ise, Orun, Igbara Odo, Ogotun and Ilawe to Hon Ojuawo.

The Coordinator of Reclaiming Naija, a civil society organization called for harmonisation of demands to avoid duplication of request and energy within the communities according to priorities and importance to concern community and settlement.
Otunba Dolamu gave kudos to Hon Ojuawo as a man of his words.

In his closing remark, Hon Ojuawo appreciates every contributions and promised to work on the requests. 'i will harmonise your submissions and fix them up in the next budget. however, should there any one beyond my reach, I will let you know and also liaise with Senator Yemi Adaramodu and other concerns, 

'Senator Yemi Adaramodu is fully aware of our sitting here and I will adequately carried him along. Also, It's pertinent to let  you  know that I have started giving our local govt Excos members their monthly allowance as promised during electoral campaign',Ojuawo concluded.
