The Member representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency I in the House of Representatives, Hon. (AVM Rtd.) Ojuawo Adeniyi Rufus, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his well-deserved consensus victory as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the 2026 governorship election.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Hon. Ojuawo described the consensus endorsement as “a resounding vote of confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s visionary and people-oriented leadership over the past three years.”
He noted that since assuming office, Governor Oyebanji has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to inclusive governance, transparency, and sustainable development—qualities that have earned him the trust and admiration of the Ekiti people.
Hon. Ojuawo highlighted some of the administration’s landmark achievements, including the reduction of the state’s domestic debt, massive infrastructure renewal projects, the upgrading of hospitals, improved healthcare and education systems, and the prompt payment of workers’ salaries and pensions.
