Ekiti 2026: APC Conducts Unprecedented Free, fair and transparent delegates election across the State.

The entire leadership of the All Progressives Congress  - (APC) in Ekiti State, all Executive Council members and all the progressive good  people of the state has been commended for their orderly and peaceful manager in which they filed out during the delegates election yesterday. 

The Executive Governor, Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji was specially commended for his sterling leadership in this regards.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has successfully conducted a rancour free, fair, and credible ward delegates’ congress across the entire 177 wards in the state yesterday ahead of the party’s consensus procedure scheduled for tomorrow October 27, 2025.

This delegates election process leading to the CONSENSUS affirmation of Governor Oyebanji is in compliance  with the Independent National Electoral Commission guidelines and Section 84 of the Nigeria Electoral Act of 2022 as ammended to date.

As expected, the Congress, held simultaneously in all wards, was to elect five delegates each from the 177 wards in the 16 Local Government Areas of the state, in line with APC guidelines. The delegates will on Monday participate in the affirmation and ratification of the party’s consensus candidate of the sole candidate of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

The unprecented exercise was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), journalists, Civil Society Organisations (CSO), and security agencies in an atmosphere of peace, cordiality, and unity of purpose.

In a press statemt issued by the Convener of the group on behalf of the foremost grassroots sensitisation and mobilisation movement for continuity of good governance, - *OYEBANJI STREET VANGUARD* (_OSV_)  said the process was seamless, fraughtless, and hitch-free in all the 177 wards across the state, with party members commending the APC leadership for ensuring transparency, fairness, and a spirit of togetherness ahead of the forthcoming affirmation on Monday, October 27, 2025.

The group however commended all the elected delegates and encourage them to carry the same spirit to the affirmation of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji tomorrow to further demonstrate our unique people that resolved to make another positive news.
