EKITI YOUTHS DECLARE UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR OYEBANJI — OUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT WITH BAO.
The authentic and forward-looking youths of Ekiti State have spoken loud and clear, taking to the streets in broad daylight to proudly declare their total support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO).
Unlike faceless or ill-mannered groups that operate under the cover of darkness, all movements and solidarity activities by Ekiti youths have always been held in daylight — a strong expression of the confidence, trust, and pride they have in Governor Oyebanji’s transparent and purposeful leadership.
In a statement issued by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, Amb. Olu-Ajayi Maxwell, the youths described Governor Oyebanji as a visionary and youth-friendly leader who has turned youthful energy into productive enterprise through inclusive governance, empowerment initiatives, and sustainable development programs.
Amb. Olu-Ajayi Maxwell reaffirmed that Ekiti youths are cultured, well-mannered, and responsible citizens, not idle hands or instruments of destruction. He stated further that the youths of Ekiti will never join any ill-mannered or misguided movement attempting to destabilize the peace of the state, especially under a governor who has continued to invest so deeply in their growth and future.
Governor Oyebanji’s administration has made youth development a cornerstone of governance, rolling out transformative initiatives that have positively impacted thousands of young lives, including:
●Ekiti State Youth Policy: A strategic roadmap for youth empowerment, innovation, and civic participation.

A Movement Rooted in Vision, Values, and Confidence:
Amb. Olu-Ajayi Maxwell emphasized that Governor Oyebanji’s administration has redefined youth participation in governance — from being mere spectators to becoming active partners in progress, innovation, and decision-making.
“We are proud of our governor because he has given us hope, voice, and purpose. All our movements of solidarity have always been in daylight because we have nothing to hide — our confidence in Governor Oyebanji speaks volumes. We walk and work in the light of day, not in the darkness of deceit. Our loyalty is born out of conviction, not convenience. Our future is bright with BAO, and we stand with him — today, tomorrow, and beyond 2030,” he declared.
