A Yoruba socio-cultural and  political group known as Omoluabi Team Alliance has congratulated the new President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who was sworn- in at the early hours of today at the Eagles Square in the nation's capital city.

The group through its' spokesperson Comr. The people have spoken and the mantle of power have been fully handed over to the President which implies taking upon the responsibilities of a country that much is needed to be done to resurge her  and help her realize her full potentials.

The group however advise the new President to hit the ground running as a prepared leader whose preference over other aspirants were based on his outstanding qualities
as he is noted to posses the  competence, capacity, tenacity and confidence to deliver on his heard earned mandate.

The Man Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Indeed A Long Walk from Bourdillion to Aso Rock Villa, Victory at Last.

The Man Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Indeed A  Long Walk from Bourdillion to Aso Rock Villa, Victory at Last.
Congratulations to the man of the moment, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as he journeys from his bourdillon home located in the city of Lagos to the power house of the most populous Africa nation, the Aso Rock Villa. Congratulations to the very many admirers and lovers of the one time Governor of Lagos State for their unrepentant show of love for the city boy who is known to have several brands of names and nomenclatures among which are the  Jagaban, the Capoon, Asiwaju, king of bourdillon among others. His success story today  is no doubt the outcome of perseverance, tolerance, commitment, zealousness, hardwork, determination and a personal resolution to achieve such magnitude of success. It takes an extraordinary man with the lion' s heart to keep pushing and breaking barriers even when the journey seems impossible. Worst of it all is when even closest allies, assumed confidants and disciples connive with external forces to make the journey and the walk into stardom look unattainable and unachievable.

The man Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown the world that he is the man with lions heart and when there is  need to roar, it is best to roar out at the highest pitch not minding whose ox is gored. This manifested in his 'Emilokan' slogan which became the talk of town and even prayer points in most Nigerian churches and other worship centers. The rest has become history but same  history will also not forget those who joined the enemies in making several attempts at thwarting the journey into the villa for the man of the people. It was a battle even initiated by fellow kinsmen who saw no need for the southwest agenda because of the possibility of a king maker becoming a king himself. Some also felt making a power broker, political godfather and political warlord an occupant of the Aso villa may be too much  a portfolio  for a man who has got it all and seen it all. Well they are now left to see what God can do that no man can stop. Asiwaju is far ahead and now on top. Congratulations to the man who won the battle amidst stiff opposition even from among his kinsmen.

The journey is indeed a long walk from the bourdillion into Aso Rock Villa. No doubt his qualities are adequate for the office of President. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the  intellectual capacity to administer and provide the direction needed to move the country forward from obscurity to limelight. He is a civilized man , well exposed, has the tenacity and charisma to stir the big ship called Nigeria.

He is a detribalized Nigerian and not a religious extremist. He has confidence in himself and a leader with focus.  Judge him base on all these attributes that speaks volume of his person, then you will agree with the writer that Nigeria is absolutely in a safe hand. Let us roll out the drums and dance to the tunes of victory as we see a new Nigeria begin to manifest beginning from today May 29th, 2023.

However, transiting from bourdillion to the Presidential lodge is a feat made possible by destiny.  He will now reside with the first family for atleast four(4) years in the villa. Certainly it  will be moments to play back the words of haters at least for a man who many said was too old and weak health- wise to provide the kind of leadership Nigeria wants at this time. Many of his close allies opposed his emergence and fought hard to stop him as they continually work hand in hand with cabals who had access to the instrument of power to avert his dream. Today all that plot has become history while we leave them to lick their wounds. The city boy has become the nation's emperor and will provide leadership in the next four years which will certainly reposition the country and refix the very many shortcomings of the country.

The emergence of Asiwaju is a blessing to Nigeria and Nigerians irrespective of our differing opinions and thoughts in his ability to deliver our very many expectations as a people. However, the truth is that the expectations of Nigerians are very high and a lot is expected from the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu   led administration. We cannot pretend or shy away from the fact that the last administration under President Muhammud Buhari achieved only little in his economic agenda and policies which enstrangled the country for the entire eight years. Notable among his weaknesses was the high rate of insecurity which made  Nigeria unsafe for all.Though in some other areas like infrastructure, judiciary and credible electoral process it will be fair to rate PMB high.

As admirers and non admirers, as haters and lovers , supporters and non supporters, as allies and non allies of the newest president in town, we all must agree that with the emergence of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR), a new Nigeria of our dream is certainly here and we must all give our supports and offer our prayers to the God -chosen leader of our nation.
May he Bola Ahmed Tinubu succeed.

Long Live Jagaban of Africa
Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria .

Gov. Oyebanji Presents N915m Gratuity Cheques To 289 Pensioners In Ekiti.
....reiterated his administration’s commitment towards policies that will enhance the quality of life of Ekiti resident's.
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji on Monday, reiterated his administration’s commitment to programmes and policies that will enhance the quality of life of Ekiti residents, especially the pensioners.

The Governor stated this during the presentation of cheques worth N915 million naira as gratuities to 289 State, local government and primary school retirees in the state at the Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti.

Speaking at the event which was hailed as unprecedented in the state, Oyebanji
said the payment of the gratuity was in fulfilment of his campaign promise of shared prosperity, adding that his administration would continue to ensure that pensioners enjoy a worthy life after their meritorious service to the state.

Oyebanji, who said he was not unaware of challenges confronting the retires as a result of a regrettable delay in accessing their gratuity benefits as and when due, assured the senior citizens that his government is irrevocably committed to ending the regime of endless wait in the payment of gratuities.

He informed the gathering that since the inception of his administration in October 2022, over N1.2 billion had been paid as a gratuity to both the State and Local government retirees while payment of monthly pensions had been regular.

He said, “As elders and critical stakeholders who occupy strategic positions in the scheme of things, our government is living no stone unturned to ensure that you all live a quality and happy life at retirement. I am aware of the many odds and challenges confronting retirees as a result of the regrettable delay in accessing your gratuity as and when due.

“I am therefore committed to ensuring that the welfare of our retirees continues to be of topmost priority. We are also irrevocably committed to ending the regime of endless wait in the payment of gratuity by our senior citizens. This is a priority for us and we will continue to explore innovative ways to support you in your retirement.

“Since we came on board, we have always paid pensions along with salaries of public servants. This, I assure you, will continue. Today, the sum of N700 million has been paid out to 192 retired civil servants as gratuity and the sum of N215 million to 79 Local Government retirees.”

Oyebanji used the opportunity to express his appreciation and to commend the management of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Department (PTAD) at both state and local government levels for the hard work and transparency they have deployed in processing this payment with particular reference to their policy based on first-to-retire, first-to-be-paid, urging to sustain it religiously.
