Oyetola Is The Candidate To Beat In Governorship Election, Says Former Chairman Aspirant, Odo-Otin North.

The former Personal Assistant to the late Sen Ayo Fasanmi, Hon Adebayo Temitope Balogun has described the Governor of State of Osun, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola as a "great, adroit manager" who has been managing the economy of the state assiduously without borrowing.

Hon Adebayo Temitope said, "Ineluctably, Gboyega Oyetola has seen the duty of governance as a sacrosanct call to the people of the state for service. He is a lover of the masses, who is governing the state with the wisdom and fear of God."

Hon Temitope now advised the opposition and said Governor Adegboyega Oyetola is the candidate to beat in the forthcoming election. "Indeed the state of Osun is very difficult to govern for inexperienced politicians. One needs savvy, vision, and enterprise as epitomised by Oyetola,"

Hon. Adebayo added in a press release that, "Oyetola is a listening Governor who is always hearkening to the voice of the people in the state before taking action. The three and half years of Oyetola in the saddle has brought tremendous development to the state in terms of infrastructure, economic development, socio intervention, monthly food distribution to ordinary impecunious citizens and access to medical Care by introducing O'HIS for the benefit of the less privileged in the state. There has been wholesome full payment of workers in the state without waiting for federal allocation before settling the workers in the state."

Earlier in his speech, Hon Temitope has urged the people of Osun to be wary of Ghana must go politicians who always come around or make themselves available anytime that elections are around the corner and he advised them to use their votes to compensate Governor Gboyega Oyetola in the July 16 Governorship election.

He said, "I appeal to the people of the state not to sell their votes for those who have no single genuine plan for the state. I can assure the people of Osun including workers in the state that the second time of Oyetola will be even more fruitful as regards the dividends of Democracy, he explained".

President Muhammadu Buhari, has described Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as an honest man who have been involved in the progressive, and smoothly administering of the state affairs from inception.

President Buhari who disclosed this in the State House on Friday at Abuja during the presentation of the party's flags to Mr Abiodun Oyebanji, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the gubernatorial election, scheduled for June 18, 2022.

He said, "You have served Ekiti State in many capacities, including as Chief of Staff, Commissioner, and Secretary to the State Government. Being Governor will just be continuity of service. I honestly wish you the best of luck."

The candidate was led to the President by National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, and Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.

Easter: Hon.makinde Araoye Felicitates Christians, Preaches Love, Peaceful Co-existence.

...Urges Christians to  Pray for peaceful Election

As Christians around the world celebrate Easter, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Makinde Araoye  (MKD), has congratulated Christians in the State for witnessing another celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He equally urged them to emulate Christ’s virtues of love, sacrifice, perseverance and humility.

Araoye described Easter as a special season that marks the salvation of mankind through the suffering of Jesus Christ, His crucifixion to redeem humanity and resurrection.

While wishing the good people of Ekiti and indeed all Nigerians a happy Easter celebration, Araoye charged residents and especially Christians to use the opportunity of the season to engage in more prayers and also in acts of love, especially by reaching out to the less privileged.

He also appealed to  them to pray for peaceful election on June 18.

 “I congratulate our Christian brothers and sisters in Ekiti State and in the Diaspora, on the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“As a people, this season offers us the opportunity to reflect on the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross and his resurrection, and to put into practice the lessons of love, sacrifice, perseverance and humility, which He taught and exemplified. 

While celebrating, we should not forget to pause a bit and pray for peaceful election in Ekiti, come June 18, 2022," Araoye said.
