EKSCOTECH Rector Reaffirms Commitment to Quality Training as HRORBN Team Pays Courtesy Visit After National Examination.

‎
‎The Rector, Ekiti State College of Technology, Ijero-Ekiti, Dr. Olufemi Olubamise, says the Institution places high premium on human lives and does not joke with practicals in the training of its students.
‎
‎Dr. Olubamise stated this while receiving officials of the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria, HRORBN, who came to supervise the National Examination for the Institution's Health Information Management, HIM, ND II and HND II students.
‎
‎The Rector, who appreciated the team for their painstaking supervision of the national examination, noted that a half-baked health practitioner may later kill his or her lecturer, or the lecturer's relative later in life, if the Institution that produced him or her was lackadaisical with training.
‎
‎He maintained that EKSCOTECH remains committed to digitization, a development which reflects in its mode of recruitment and examination conduct, both for entrance and in-house examinations, adding that graduating with a certificate in ICT is compulsory for all students of the Polytechnic.
‎
‎Dr. Olubamise also expressed gratitude to the Health Information Registration Board for their donation of books to the Institution.
‎
‎Earlier, the team leader of the HRORBN delegation, Mr. Salihu Muhammod-Saliu, appreciated the Management of the Polytechnic for the support received throughout the period of the examination.
‎
‎Mr. Saliu, who supervised the National Examination which is a requisite for the issuance of practicing license for the ND and HND categories, urged the Institution to continue to uphold the standard practices of teaching and learning it is known for.
‎
‎Other members of the team include Mr. Anthony Luke Idoko, Centre Manager, Mrs. Abiodun Oguntusi, Mrs. Hajara Zira Ngidda and Mr. Abdulqudus Garuba.

‎The Rector received the HRORBN team in company of the Dean, School of Allied Health Sciences, Mrs. Awe Omotola, the Head, Health Information Management Department, Mrs. Mary Ogbonna and the Director, ICT Directorate, Mr. Niyi Awopetu.
