Ajijola Reaffirms Commitment to Progressive Candidates in Ekiti Central.
High Chief Lateef Ajijola, popularly known as “Always Standing,” has reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to the development, progress and political advancement of Ekiti Central Senatorial District.
Ajijola, the Executive Director of the South West Development Commission, reiterated his continued support for the progressive candidates across Ekiti Central, including Senator Opeyemi Bamidele for Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Hon. Sola Fatoba for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I, and Hon. Karounwi Oladapo for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II.
He stressed that his commitment to Ekiti Central remains firm and unwavering, noting that unity, effective representation, grassroots development and collective progress are essential to building a stronger and more prosperous constituency.
According to him, the people of Ekiti Central deserve purposeful representation that will continue to attract opportunities, support development initiatives and promote the interests of the people at all levels of government.
Ajijola therefore called on electorates and supporters across Ekiti Central to come out in large numbers and vote massively for all the progressive candidates, stressing that their support would contribute to strengthening effective representation and advancing the interests of the people.
Support for Tinubu and Shettima
The Executive Director also called on Nigerians, particularly voters across Ekiti Central, to support the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima in the 2027 presidential election.
He described the Tinubu administration's Renewed Hope Agenda as a reform-driven programme focused on economic recovery, infrastructure development, job creation, human capital development, social protection and strengthening opportunities for Nigerians.
He noted that the Federal Government has continued to pursue reforms aimed at creating a more stable and productive economy, while also expanding investments in infrastructure, digital development, agriculture, housing, healthcare and other strategic sectors. Ajijola further commended the administration's emphasis on empowering young Nigerians and expanding opportunities in the digital economy, noting that the Federal Government's Digital Free Zones initiative is intended to attract investment, create jobs and enable Nigerian technology and service companies to compete more effectively in global markets. citeturn0search10
He urged the people to remain committed to peace, unity, democratic participation and development, while encouraging electorates to exercise their civic responsibility by turning out to vote during the elections.
Ajijola reaffirmed that his commitment to the people of Ekiti Central goes beyond politics, stressing that his ultimate interest remains the advancement, empowerment and sustainable development of the people.
