Ajijola Backs Adaramodu, Okoro, Bamisile, Mobilises Ekiti South for Tinubu.

High Chief Lateef Ajijola, Executive Director of the South West Development Commission, has thrown his weight behind the progressive candidates contesting elective positions in Ekiti South Senatorial District, calling on the electorate to support leaders with proven commitment to development and effective representation.

Ajijola, popularly known as “Always Standing,” reaffirmed his commitment to the political advancement, economic growth and overall wellbeing of the people of Ekiti South, stressing that his interest in the district extends beyond electoral contests.

He declared his support for Senator Adeyemi Adaramodu, who is seeking another term in the Senate to represent Ekiti South Senatorial District, as well as Engr. Toyin Okoro, candidate for Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, and Hon. Olufemi Bamisile, candidate for Ekiti South Federal Constituency II.

According to him, Ekiti South needs representatives who understand the aspirations of the people, remain accessible to their constituents and possess the capacity to attract development projects, economic opportunities and government interventions to the communities.

Ajijola urged the people of the senatorial district to remain united and politically conscious, noting that quality representation at the National Assembly was essential to advancing the interests of the people and ensuring that the district benefited from government programmes and developmental initiatives.

He called on voters to participate actively in the forthcoming elections and cast their ballots for the progressive candidates, saying their success would provide the district with stronger representation and a more effective voice in government.

The South West Development Commission executive also appealed to Nigerians, particularly voters in Ekiti South, to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 presidential election.

Ajijola said the Renewed Hope administration had embarked on a number of reforms and intervention programmes aimed at repositioning the Nigerian economy, improving infrastructure, expanding employment opportunities and strengthening human capital development.

He cited interventions in agriculture, healthcare, housing, digital technology and social investment as areas where the Federal Government was working to improve the living conditions and economic prospects of Nigerians.

He particularly praised the administration's efforts to deepen Nigeria's digital economy, noting that initiatives such as the Digital Free Zones programme could attract technology-driven investments, create jobs and provide Nigerian businesses with greater access to the global digital marketplace.

Ajijola further urged the people of Ekiti South to embrace peace, unity and responsible participation in the democratic process, stressing that political differences should not undermine the collective development of the district.

He maintained that his relationship with the people of Ekiti South was rooted in a genuine desire to empower the people and contribute to sustainable development, rather than being limited to electoral considerations.

Ajijola pledged to continue supporting policies, programmes and political initiatives capable of promoting good governance, effective representation, economic empowerment and improved opportunities for the people of Ekiti South.
