INCESSANT ACCIDENTS IN AKUNGBA- IKARE ROAD; OPEN LETTER TO THE CONCERNS BODIES;

ONDO STATE GOVERNMENT, ARAKUNRIN OLUWAROTIMI AKEREDOLU, SAN,

AAUA MANAGEMENT,

THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY,

THE ALUMNI,

The NANS, NAUS, AAUA ALUMNUS, Akungba King and chief's, VC, Governor AKEREDOLU are not all blind or deaf to the accidents claiming students lives in that community!!

For crying out loud they have a fuvking King and combination of so called jeun jeun chiefs and yet could not make a stand to stop  Trailers from plying that road and wasting student's precious lives. A barricade was constructed at that particular hill going to Ikare but the Akungba and Ikare boys ably aided by their useless Elders turned it to toll gate and started collecting money to allow trailers have access to the community to the detriment of the students!!

The SU president Kolade Olumide Multiple Ogunsanmi has tried his best writing to the state government on numerous occasions but as usual the white bearded father Christmas is always as stony as ever.

Here, Sam Praise a former SU President and many other students lost their lives to a particular accident, it was a black day in Akungba and I doubt if the parents of those students will ever recover from their loses, what's more, the mother of the  siblings who died in that accident too reportedly gave up the ghost when she heard the news.

No panel was set up oo... No Alumnus or shey it's Alumni said anything!! Recently those Trailers are out on a killing spree again this week about 3 Trailer accident have been reported taking students lives again!! Yesterday 3 Trailers accident occurred.

Mr. Governor sir, being a father and the number one citizens of the state, you should have more concerns about the people dying, parents are loosing the life's of theirs kid's in a sorrowful, angony, unpleasant situation. Although, you has promised to dualized the said road which has been included and approved in the Ondo State 2022 budget, but expect quicker action to stop this evil occurrence because we don’t know what and who can be tomorrow but our land is crying.

MY ADVISED; 

The State government, university management and community must agree to best solution to avert this evil occurrences because dualization may be efficient and adequate but pending the time the mapping and conclusion of the project my advised;

Parking space for trailers should be created for trailers to stop and check for balances for further driving at a strategic location.

Also, the road should be close for all trailers by erecting permanent barricades at right angle (entries of Akungba Community) for preventive measures and as optional, make notification when the barricade will be open and closed for trailers e.g 11pm- 4:30am.

Proper and able-bodied security personnel should be put in place to safeguard the erected barricades to avoid the money making business called "owo tollgate" from the heartless called indigenes thugs.

We are still in pains of our hero past and we say no………

The stands of the university management and the community rulers is immense important to identify the role of the AAUA management as well as the community rulers in proffering solutions to accidents occurring along akungba-Ikare road. All concerns stakeholders having met with the governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and the governor reiterated the State intense to dualized the said road which has been included and approved in the Ondo State 2022 budget. 

The entire community and Students stakeholders applauded the governor for his words and humanitarian concern towards life and properties in the vicinity but expect quicker action to stop this evil occurrence because we don’t know what and who can be tomorrow but our land is crying and we don’t want to mourn again. 

The death of our fallen hero in the accident that happened on 23th Jan, 2021 is an aghast incident, may God grant our Late AAUASU PRESIDENT Comr. Adesomoju Samuel known as SAMPRAIZE and others an eternal rest in bosom of Eledumare. We are still in pains of our hero past and we say no………

Seven APC Aspirants reportedly Demands for postponement of Governorship primary; accuse Fayemi of plottinh his aides, appointees as Electoral umpires 

Seven Aspirants contesting on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) have demanded for the postponement of primary election over allege parade of Governor Kayode Fayemi appointees , aides and state Assembly members as Electoral umpires to pave way for his anointed candidate, Biodun Oyebanji.

The Aspirants in a statement co-signed on Thursday morning said they were shocked when some aides, members of state Assembly and Local government chairmen were given result sheets ahead of election that will be held on Thursday. 

The aspirants who expressed shock when aides, appointees, members of state Assembly were listed as electoral umpires in the primary election 

The group wondered how could the leadership of the party in the state and Governor Kayode Fayemi throw caution to wind and parade some of his appointees as Electoral umpires said they were not consulted before the Panel was constituted.

The group therefore implore the Electoral Panel from National Headquarter in order to avert legal tussle that may arise from charade governorship primary election in Ekiti state .

Among Fayemi’s aide , Assembly members, Local governments Chairmen are paraded as Electoral umpires are Kemi Olaleye, Ayo Adegbite, Aribasoye Richard's, Olu Aladeloye, Barrister Oloje, Deji Ajayi etc that appeared as ward and electoral officers are members of BAO ( government sponsored candidate.) Campaign committee.

Ekiti 2022; Tension arouse in Ekiti APC as the State Government Officials allegedly Plans to arrest Defiant Members to favour Biodun Oyebanji in the Primary.

There is reportedly palpable tension across Ekiti towns as some functionaries of Governor Kayode Fayemi administration are said to have  concluded plans to arrest some party members who are opposed to the candidacy of Biodun Oyebanji.

According to a source in the party who spoke on the condition of anonymity said, “some party members have been shortlisted to be arrested before Thursday, January 27th, when the All Progressives Congress (APC) will hold its Governorship primary in the state.

“It was alleged that the meeting was held yesterday, Monday, 24th January, 2022 in Ado-Ekiti, with the main agenda to arrest and assault defiant party members ahead of the election, he explained.”

He said, “ why are they agitated if they are so sure of Biodun Oyebanji’s popularity, they should campagin for him, instead of using security agencies to harass and intimidate party members. He Adding that, “It is obvious that the party is polarized in Ekiti, people will resist any attempt to impose Biodun on them, let him do his work very well and leave it to electorate to decide.”

However, the disclosed shortlisted to be arrested has reportedly appealed to security agencies not to allow them to be used by the State government officials who are bent to impose Biodun on the party members.

Among the party members listed to be reportedly on the arrested list are;  Olubunmi Oguntuase, Gbenga Banji, Hon. Ropo Ige, Ijero, Hon.Toyin Agbaje, Ijero LG, Prince Akin Olayisade, Ido Osi, DG, MOB Campaign Team, Rotimi Osamluyi,  Femi Adebayo, Bunmi Omotoso, Sayo Fagbayi, Olurokan Babatola, Victor Akinwumi, Sola Bakare, Bimbola Durojaiye, Taiwo Olayemi, Femi Ayodele, Michael Abiola,  Prince Adebayo Omowunmi,  Otunba Omoyelu among others.

FESSU HOUSE OF SENATE. 

Combatant greetings Distinguished fessuites and conscious Ekiti state students. 

Following abuse and breach  of constitutional authority and privileges that enveloped a purported Congress held at the federal university of technology yesterday January 22nd, 2022 which led to threat to life to different conscious Fessuites, mobilization into the Congress ground hoodlums, people with questionable identity with no traces to Ekiti.which made it expedient for the chapter presidents who are the legitimate senators of this prestigious union and all their members to as a matter of urgency left the venue of this Congress, this make any decision out of quorum non and void. 

It is expedients that The house of senate, the arm of this union who are to safe, defend and protect the sacrosanct constitutional interest of this union write to the general public, intending aspirants and all conscious Fessuites not to only disregard any laughable information either as a form of resolution or constitution of any fake electoral commission but to hold it as a crime. 

This is a red alert to everyone, while it is the duty of the legislative arm to checkmate the executive in all decisions making process and take actions where necessary, it is necessary that all matters will be looked into as the principal officers of the legislative arms have been receiving different calls from our Nobel stakeholders and conscious Fessuites who are really concern on how to safe the face of our union from this molestation. 

We will enter a consultative deliberations with the stakeholders as regards the calls we having been receiving today and we shall reach out to everyone on matters about the successful transmission of power in our union and measures to be taking to avert any future occurrences of same reckless act in few hours from now. 

Till then, we want all Ekiti state students, intending aspirants to remain calm and law abiding without using abusive words on anyone.
