Ojuawo Intensifies Consultations, Meets Ekiti South West Leaders Ahead Primaries. 



As the party’s primary election draws nearer, Hon. (AVM Rtd) Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo has intensified consultations with key stakeholders across Ekiti South Federal Constituency I. 

In continuation of this effort, he engaged party leaders and influential stakeholders in Ekiti South West Local Government in a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening unity and consolidating support.
The meeting, which had in attendance prominent leaders from Ilawe, Igbara-Odo, and Ogotun, provided an opportunity for open dialogue on the progress of the constituency and the way forward.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Ojuawo highlighted his achievements over the past three years, emphasizing his commitment to grassroots development, empowerment initiatives, and infrastructural improvements.



In his opening remarks, Hon. Ojuawo expressed profound appreciation to the party leadership and stakeholders for their unwavering support, loyalty, and cooperation. He acknowledged the critical role they have played in sustaining the party’s strength and ensuring effective representation at the federal level.

He further assured them of his continued dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy, promising to build on existing successes while pursuing new initiatives that will enhance the socio economic well being of the people. Hon. Ojuawo reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership, noting that the voices and interests of all communities within the constituency will remain a top priority.


In their responses, the Ekiti South West Local Government Chairman, Hon Richard Apolola who also serves as the gatekeeper of the local govt, commended Hon. Ojuawo for his performance. He noted, “I am taken aback by your achievements; you have changed my perception about your person. I advise you to work even more closely with the party leadership you have the credentials and accomplishments to be proud of.”

Similarly, Hon. Oluwole Ariyo, popularly known as Gato, appreciated Hon. Ojuawo for his impactful service and future plans. He, however, urged him to further engage stakeholders within Ise/Orun, stating, “We in Ekiti South West are proud of your performance and credentials. However, you should continue to talk to your people along at home they should be your strongest supporters.”
Also speaking, Hon. Awopetu affirmed that the lawmaker has performed commendably, adding, “Our representative has done extremely well, and we must acknowledge that. Wherever I go now, I have clear achievements to point to.”


The meeting concluded on a positive note, with stakeholders reiterating their support and readiness to work collectively towards a successful primary election and beyond.
