Marwa, Adamawa Elders Applaud Barrister Idris Shuaibu’s Emergence as APC National Vice Chairman (North East).
The Adamawa Progressive Elders Council has formally congratulated Barrister Idris Shuaibu following his election as the National Vice Chairman (North East) of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement released on Monday, March 30, 2026, the Council’s Chairman, Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), described the election as a "proud moment" for Adamawa State and a testament to Shuaibu’s longstanding dedication to the party’s grassroots and national growth.
General Marwa highlighted Shuaibu’s previous tenure as the Adamawa State APC Chairman, noting that his ability to navigate the state's complex political landscape prepared him for this regional responsibility.
