The Honourable Member representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo (AVM, Rtd), has congratulated the newly emerged consensus candidates for Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship positions ahead of the forthcoming local government elections across Ekiti South Federal Constituency I.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Ojuawo applauded the transparent, orderly, and rancour-free process that produced the candidates, while commending the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its commitment to due process and internal democracy.

“I congratulate the consensus candidates for Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship in our local governments. The exercise was peaceful and rancour-free, further reaffirming the APC as a united family that believes in process, discipline, and purposeful leadership,” he said.

Speaking further, Hon. Ojuawo charged the candidates to lead with humility, inclusiveness, and integrity, urging them to emulate the exemplary leadership style of the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, in all their undertakings as they prepare for the elections.

He also encouraged them to extend hands of fellowship to all stakeholders, emphasizing unity and collective responsibility as the party consolidates its strength ahead of forthcoming electoral engagements.
