The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, will on Monday, February 23, 2026 preside over the swearing-in of the five newly appointed high court judges in the State judiciary.
The ceremony, scheduled to hold at the Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti, is billed for 10:00am, with invited guests expected to be seated by 9:30am.
A statement on Thursday by the Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, Olayinka Oyebode, said the event marks another milestone in the administration’s commitment to deepening justice delivery and enhancing the efficiency of the state’s judicial system.
The appointment of the new judges is expected to address workload pressures within the High Court and accelerate the dispensation of cases across the state.
The swearing-in ceremony will be attended by top government officials, members of the judiciary, legal practitioners and other stakeholders.
