Our amazing, brilliant, professionally inclined, and quintessential Permanent Secretary of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Mrs. Titilayo Toba-Ojo, fondly and reverently called “MOTHER  GENERAL” stands as a rare symbol of excellence in public administration,as she marks her birthday 🎻 🎺 🎻 🪘 🥁 🪇 🍾 🍾 🍾 in addition to an awesome retirement from the service today, hallelujah 🙌 🙌 

Her nickname was not casually earned. It was born from uncommon feats recorded at the prime helm of the Local Government Service Commission — aesthetic administrative restructuring, astonishing vibrance in institutional management, and a deeply humane leadership style that radiated into community, societal, and home-management values.

To the glory of God, her retirement is not an exit — it is a transition into greater purpose. With characteristic focus, proactive vision, and disciplined dedication.

 she is channeling her wealth of experience into becoming an outstanding AUTHOR, determined to make her retirement a landmark reference point in the annals of the Local Government Service Commission.

As the first female staff of the Commission to rise to the prestigious height of Permanent Secretary—standing  in humility, shoulder to shoulder with her male counterparts—she represents courage, competence, and the breaking of institutional ceilings. Her journey alone deserves glorious recognition by the present administration, not merely as celebration, but as motivation for others to serve with integrity, loyalty, and visionary commitment.

During her charismatic leadership:

Leave bonuses, once treated as privilege, became an established right for all staff.

Outstanding deductions and months of unpaid salaries were cleared.

Car and housing loans were significantly increased and made accessible to boost staff morale.

Promotions became timely, structured, and merit-driven.

A sustained and sound working relationship was strengthened between Government and NULGE.

The number of serving Permanent Secretaries was expanded from one to three — inclusively selected from within the Local Government structure.

She never walked alone.

 She rejected self-glorification and embraced collective elevation. Her administration was inclusive, strategic, and transformational.

Indeed, Mrs. Titilayo Toba-Ojo is an Eagle, always refreshing to take up challenges, and gloriously overcome.
