Appeal Court Verdict: ARG Congratulates Tinubu, Says Victory Well Deserved.

The Afenifere Renewal Group, (ARG), a Socio - Cultural and Political Organisation, Ekiti State Chapter, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the Presidential Election Appeal Tribunal, saying the Court's position further validated the fact that he emerged through popular votes.
Describing the verdict as a well deserved victory, Afenifere said the position of the court has helped in exposing the litany of lies being peddled by the candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and his counterpart in the People's Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, that Tinubu rigged to emerge victorious.
A statement released in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday by ARG's Publicity Secretary in Ekiti, Hon. Michael Ogungbemi, congratulating Tinubu on his victory, appealed to all Nigerians to coalesce efforts with the Nigerian leader to take Nigeria to the promised land.
The socio cultural and political body, congratulated the All Progressive Congress members across Nigeria and all the Nigerian citizens who stood solidly behind the politician while campaigning to garner votes, saying the victory signposted that their labour has not been in vain.
The body called on the petitioners to be patriotic enough to rally round the current government in the task of evolving a nation that is progressive and prosperous, rather than toeing the path of division or stoking the ember of disunity.
"The Afenifere Renewal Group wishes to extend its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubuon the ruling by the Election Appeal Court, which validated his victory. This is truly a momentous occasion that deserves recognition and celebration.
"The outcome of the appeal demonstrates the unwavering commitment to justice and the democratic process. The determination to fairly evaluate the electoral disputes and arrive at a just verdict is commendable.
