Protests for Justice Erupt in Three States Following Mohbad's Mysterious Death.

In the wake of the mysterious death of young musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, protests demanding justice have spread across three states in Nigeria. The latest demonstration took place in the Panseke area of Abeokuta, Ogun State, as youths gathered to voice their concerns about Mohbad's demise.

Clad in black attire, symbolizing mourning, the protesters assembled at the skating ground arena in Abeokuta. They carried placards with inscriptions like #JusticeForMohbad and #WhoTurnedOffTheLight, expressing their demand for answers.

Earlier, protests had erupted in Ikorodu, Lagos, with youths holding placards that read, "We won't accept this, justice for Mohbad." Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records owned by Naira Marley, passed away at the age of 27.

Similar protests were reported in Lagos around the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) area, as well as in Warri, Delta State, where youths demanded justice for Mohbad.

While some unfounded reports on social media have accused Naira Marley of involvement in Mohbad's death, the artist expressed his grief, describing Mohbad as more than just an artiste or signee but a brother and dear friend.

The Lagos State Police Command has responded by inaugurating a 13-man special investigation team to probe the mysterious death of Mohbad. The circumstances surrounding his passing remain under investigation.
