MOB Submits Re-election forms for APC Ekiti Central Senatorial district

Chairman, Senate Committee on Judiciary Human Rights and Legal Matters, Senator Michael  Opeyemi Bamidele on Monday submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for All Progressive Congress (APC), Ekiti Central Senatorial District for re-election as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Senator Bamidele in a statement issued by his media Office in  Abuja, pledged to attract more dividends of Democracy to the people of Ekiti Central if re-elected as Senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He used the opportunity to thank the leadership of APC in Ekiti State and party members for their continuous support towards his re-election.
"Bamidele said  after submitting the nomination and expression of interest form, it is time to continue the good work he has started.
" I appreciate the leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti State and members of the party for their continuous support towards his my re-election to the Red Chamber in 2023."

The Leaders of Osun Matters Arising, Comrade Akeem Kolapo, Hon Adebayo Temitope and Hon Raji Ibrahim Abolaji, witnessed with glee the exhilarating events at Irewole, Isokan, and Ayedade yesterday.

Indeed it was like a veritable carnival yesterday while  the people  of Irewole, Isokan, and Ayedade, Federal Constituency welcomed Hon. Taiwo Oluga with bubbly massive crowds and with sundry attestation to her superlative performance since she was elected to the House of Representatives in Abuja.

Speaking at Apomu yesterday, Former Chairman Akeem Oladede, appreciated the performance of Hon. Taiwo Oluga, giving her kudos, stressing that he acknowledged her sparkling performance across the federal Constituency and her message was being delivered to the Local Governments which  comprise the federal Constituency time to time. The former Chairman assured her of their support "I earnestly applaud her indomitable energy and goodwill. This great lady should continue steadfastly because the Constituency is enjoying her good services to humanity."

The Chairman, Akinremi Isola, who was among the Leaders who spoke and poured encomiums on Hon Taiwo Oluga stated with breathtaking candour that the Constituency had never enjoyed a sterling Representative like this.

The woman Leader, who buttressed the points of Leader, appreciated the Hon. Taiwo Oluga for carrying the Constituency's women along in her government. She said they have never for once regretted supporting Hon Taiwo Oluga. Also, Mrs Basirat, former Leader of the house appreciated Hon Oluga for facilitating jobs for thousands of graduates in the Constituency. She added that time did not permit her to mention all the gratifying details in this wise.

Among the people who further testified to the scintillating performance of Hon Oluga, were youth leader Teslim Apena, Wasiu Oyelami, Mr Kunle Ogunleye. Former Chairman Isokan LG testified and appreciated her love and support for the Youths and the women empowerment of which he was one of the beneficiaries.

Hon. Taiwo Oluga, who couldn't hide her joy, appreciated the people of her federal Constituency and said, "I return all the glory, honour and adoration back to God. After God, my Boss, Gov state of Osun Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, the party Leaders, Elders, Youths, women, men and every party members in Irewole, Isokan and Ayedade Federal Constituency.  Without your support and prayers who am I? I appreciate every member of my Constituency who used to call me on phone and pray for me saying they just want to pray for me without requesting for anything. Indeed I advise my colleagues who often ignore the calls of the people that they are  missing a lot because nothing you use can compare with prayers!"

Hon Taiwo who was accompanied by her twin brother, Ayedaade Local Government Chairman, Local Government Secretary, Councillors, Oluga Dynasty Babes and party Leaders said, she appreciates the Leaders "for acknowledging my little contributions to the federal Constituency. Out of 33 wards that comprise the Federal Constituency all of them have been positively touched and somewhat rekindled,"

Hon Taiwo Oluga also urged the members of the Federal Constituency to cast their votes for Gov Gboyega Oyetola come July 16 Governorship election because the success of Mr Gov is the engine that will lubricate candidates who are contesting. She also promised the people and the party members to be patient with the assurance that she will do even more to elevate her people from the poverty. She said, "I am ready to bring every program that will be beneficial to the people of my Federal Constituency with the firm assurance that I will not betray the trust they have in me."

Among the people who attended the riveting, colourful meeting were the Chairmen of three local Governments, their Secretaries, party Chairmen across the three Local governments, Wards Chairmen, Youths Leaders, women's Leader and other faithful party members across the pertinent three Local Governments. EMPLOYMENT AND EMPOWERMENT PROJECTS/PROGRAMS:
Equipping her constituents in a sustainable way is one of the paramount things I have committed myself to since I assumed office and I have facilitated employment for more than 40 persons in various Government agencies/ parastals and organized empowerment training sessions for more than 2000 persons with start up grants in her federal constituency.

Engagement of over 50 graduates constuents under Oluga Corp scheme for close to 2year with prompt payment. Start up grants given to all after vocational training . 

Facilitated federal government social intervention funds for over 900 constituents in Irewole Federal Constituency 

Assisting over 500 of her constituents with Motorcycles, sewing machines, Grinding machines, Hair dryers and, Deep freezers through the empowerment and support programs.

Provision of free revolving loan to traders and market women association in all the three Local Governments in her federal constituency in January 2021.

Fertilizers, herbicides and other farm inputs were distributed to Farmers and farmers Association in the federal constituency.

600 bags of fertilizers were distributed to constituents and farmers Association Irewole Federal2021 Gbongan High School, Gbongan Constituency 

Over 100 pumping machines were distributed for irrigation to Farmers to boost their productions in Irewole Federal Constituency 

To support women, a Locust beans processing machine was mounted in Ayeedade local government. 

Pumping machines and other palm oil processing items were provided for women in 24 different clusters across the villages in Irewole Federal Constituency. 

Over 100 generating set were distributed to constituents in December 2021.

In December 2021, over 400 spraying Can were distributed to the Farmers Association and constituents.

EDUCATION:
Spelling Bee Competition was put together for both Middle and High school students as Winners were rewarded with cash prizes worth over N300, 000. Books and school bags constituted consolation gifts for other participants.
She also introduced Taiwo Oluga Covid 19 Online essay Competition was organized in August 2020 among the Federal Constituency, undergraduates. cash prizes were given to the best three winners .

Instructional materials were distributed to some selected schools within the federal constituency. E g. Community primary school tonkere , Ayedaade local government 
Free summer coaching with nine (9) centers across the Federal Constituency for public and private school students was set up.

Distribution of drugs worth millions of naira to Oluoseke health center and some health centers within the Odeyinka axis. Irewole local government

Whilst engaging the Leaders of Osun Matters Arising in discussion, Hon Oluga said she dedicated all these achievements to the Mr Gov. Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega, and all the Leaders in the party, Chairman, prince Gboyega Famodun and sundry leaders in her Federal Constituency.

Unequivocally, these are the reasons why Leaders and Youths in the Federal Constituency have adopted Hon Taiwo Oluga for the second term and want her to Represent the federal Constituency come the 2023 general election. Kudos!!

Amidst palpable exhilaration, Brig Gen (Rtd) Lekan Adeniran Akogun has raised the hope of the people of Osun Senatorial West after he obtained his Senatorial form.

The ambience was agog with excitement as the (Rtd) Gen made his assurance statement after garnering his Senatorial form. He explained to the hordes that he is ready to use the disciplined, variegated experience he acquired as a top-notch military Officer in the Nigerian Army in the service of the people.

Senator Bamidele Splashes Multi-million Naira Equipment, Vehicles on Constituents

Chairman, Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele on Tuesday splashed multi Million Naira empowerment items on Constituents on Tuesday 3rd of May 2022 at the Oluyemi Kayode stadium in Ado Ekiti.

Bamidele in a programme well attended by dignitaries in Ado Ekiti the state capital, thanked the people of Ekiti Central Senatorial district for reposing confidence in him by sending him to Abuja to represent them in the 9th National Assembly.

Senator Bamidele pledged to bring more dividends of democracy to the people of Ekiti Central Senatorial District. At the empowerment programme, Senator Bamidele distributed 26 Mini buses, 250 Grinding machines, 250 motorcycles, 2 ambulances , 250 hair dryers, 250 sowing machines, 250 Wheels chairs, 56 Tricycles
2 Ventilators, Hilux Van, Tractor, Truck load of Fertilisers and many other empowerments  items to the  Constituents.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Bamidele maintained that his election into the 9th Senate has brought about a remarkable harvest of dividends of democracy such as the Empowerment of over 5000 constituents, including artisans, youths, women, and the physically challenged.

Others  includes sponsorship of numerous Motions and Bills, including the Bill for the establishment of the Federal University of Medical and Environmental Sciences in Iyin-Ekiti; the Construction of a Mega Digital Library in Ado-Ekiti.
He also facilitated  the distribution and Installation of over 50 Transformers at different locations within Ekiti Central, provision of over 40 Motorized Boreholes; the Installation of Solar-Powered Street Lights across the five Local Government Areas in Ekiti Central Senatorial District; Securing of employment to over 80 youth job applicants and over 300 N-Power Graduate applicants; the Provision of palliatives during the Covid-19 Pandemic as well as the distribution of Eidel Fitri and Christmas Gifts during the yuletide respectively, to mention just a few of them".
"I will also be seizing this opportunity to seek for your continued support, encouragement and prayers to enable us do more and to further raise the bar in legislative representation and Infrastructural and community development in Ekiti Central Senatorial District and beyond."
The Chairman of the occasion and Minister of Industry,Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, saluted the Senator for giving a strong showing through the empowerment programme, saying this has further showed that he is a good and worthy representative. 
Speaking on Senator Bamidele's reelection bid,  Adebayo said: "Senator Bamidele has done well with this empowerment, he has done creditably well and this is kind of him.
