The Executive Chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area, Hon. Gbenga Oluwatuyi, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah as the holy month of Ramadan begins.
In a statement released by his Media Team to Newsmen, Hon. Gbenga Oluwatuyi urged the Muslim community to utilize the period for prayers, worship, almsgiving, and support for the less privileged in society to receive blessings from Allah.
He welcomed all Muslim faithful in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area and Ekiti State to Ramadan Kareem, emphasizing it as a time for annual fasting to seek forgiveness and redemption from Allah.
Expressing his belief in Allah's compassion, favor, and mercy during this period, Hon. Oluwatuyi urged the people of the council area to pray for peace and tranquility in the Local Government Area and the State. He highlighted the importance of cooperation and faith with government at all levels, emphasizing that unity will lead to renewed hope.
Furthermore, he encouraged commitment to the development of Ekiti State through support for the diligent Governor, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
In conclusion, Hon. Gbenga Oluwatuyi wished the Muslim community a blessed Ramadan and reiterated his message of Ramadan Kareem to all.
