Ayede Grammar School Old Students’ Association (AGSOSA) Ayede Ekiti recently bestowed an Award of Excellence upon Hon. (AVM Rtd) Ojuawo Rufus Adeniyi, the Honourable member representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1, in recognition of his significant moral and financial contributions to the growth and development of Ayede Grammar School
Established in 1957, Ayede Grammar School holds a special place in the hearts of its alumni, including Hon. Ojuawo, who graduated as part of the 1981 set and remains a proud member of AGSOSA.
During the award ceremony, Prof. J O. Bamidele, the Association General Secretary, commended Hon. Ojuawo and the other awardees, Hon. Dayo Akpata, SAN, Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Ekiti State, and Justice Omotosho, for their outstanding contributions to the Alma Mater's progress. The Association expressed gratitude for their resilience and exceptional dedication to their chosen careers, as well as their generous financial support towards the school's development.
In response, Hon. Dayo Akpata expressed appreciation to AGSOSA for the honor bestowed upon them and pledged to continue supporting Ayede Grammar School. He commended the AGSOSA executive for their commitment and effective execution of programs aimed at uplifting the school.
Accompanying Hon. Ojuawo were notable personalities including Engr. Gbenga Omole, Hon. Femi Babalola, Prof. Isaac Adanlawo, Mr. Idowu Fabiyi, and others.
The recognition from AGSOSA serves as a testament to Hon. Ojuawo's and his fellow awardees' unwavering commitment to the advancement of their Alma Mater and their outstanding achievements in their respective fields.
