Easter: Hon.makinde Araoye Felicitates Christians, Preaches Love, Peaceful Co-existence.

...Urges Christians to  Pray for peaceful Election

As Christians around the world celebrate Easter, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Makinde Araoye  (MKD), has congratulated Christians in the State for witnessing another celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He equally urged them to emulate Christ’s virtues of love, sacrifice, perseverance and humility.

Araoye described Easter as a special season that marks the salvation of mankind through the suffering of Jesus Christ, His crucifixion to redeem humanity and resurrection.

While wishing the good people of Ekiti and indeed all Nigerians a happy Easter celebration, Araoye charged residents and especially Christians to use the opportunity of the season to engage in more prayers and also in acts of love, especially by reaching out to the less privileged.

He also appealed to  them to pray for peaceful election on June 18.

 “I congratulate our Christian brothers and sisters in Ekiti State and in the Diaspora, on the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“As a people, this season offers us the opportunity to reflect on the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross and his resurrection, and to put into practice the lessons of love, sacrifice, perseverance and humility, which He taught and exemplified. 

While celebrating, we should not forget to pause a bit and pray for peaceful election in Ekiti, come June 18, 2022," Araoye said.

2023, A YEAR OF DESTINY: MY OFFICIAL DECLARATION FOR EKITI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, OYE CONSTITUENCY 2.

In continuation of our mobilisation for June 18th Gubernatorial election and efforts for APC to win with wide margin, to God be the glory I made my aspirations known to the people of my Ward yesterday at the Ward meeting.

In my statement, I thank the party leaders for standing firm in building the party at the grassroot. I urge the party members to let us focus on BAO's Victory first, that it is only when we win the JUNE 18th election that we can now be talking of Senate, Rep and Assembly because Ekiti has history of WINNERS TAKE IT ALL. I told them that I am not desperate with my aspiration, that it is only God that gives power. I promise not to let them down because I am young, nurtured  and cultured by my parents and Political leaders of repute, so I still have a long journey in politics. I urge them to let us go from Door-To- Door to preach the gospel of BAO. I thank the government led by our amiable Governor Dr .John Kayode Fayemi for mobilising Contractor to our town road (Itapa/Ijelu/Omu road) this is one of our joy in OMU/IJELU.
