NPUGA 2025: Venite University Shine as Benedicta Sprints into 200m Semis, Football Team Books Round of 16 Spot.

Venite University athletes continued their impressive outing at the ongoing Nigerian Private Universities Games Association (NPUGA) holding at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State.
The institution’s sprint sensation, Edelegba Benedicta, powered her way into the semi-finals of the women’s 200 metres after finishing second in her heat. Teammate, Marvelous, also put up a commendable performance, crossing the line in fifth position. Benedicta will be the centre of attention today as she bids for a place in the final.
In football, Venite University’s male team sealed a dramatic 3-2 victory over Pan-Atlantic University to advance to the Round of 16. The win sets up a crucial clash against Bells University scheduled for 2:30pm today.
With confidence running high in both track and football events, the Venite camp is brimming with belief as they aim to continue their fine form at the Games.
