Oyebanji Boosts Food Production with Distribution of Seeds to Ekiti Farmers.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has reiterated his administration's commitment to enhancing food production across Ekiti State.
As part of efforts to ensure food security, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Boluwaji Ebenezer, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Ebenezer Babatope Ojo, led a team to Erio Ekiti on Tuesday to distribute tomato, vegetable, and cucumber seeds to farmers ahead of the rainy season.
The initiative aligns with Governor Oyebanji's vision of agricultural rehabilitation and providing resources to support farmers in boosting productivity.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Ebenezer emphasized the government's focus on empowering farmers through various programs, mechanization, and other support initiatives aimed at revitalizing agriculture in the state.
He said, “This distribution is part of the administration's broader plan to ensure that farmers have access to the necessary resources to increase food production and strengthen food security in Ekiti.”
Governor Oyebanji's leadership continues to inspire progress in the agricultural sector, as evidenced by the implementation of strategic programs to empower farmers and improve mechanized farming practices.
Residents and stakeholders across the state have lauded the administration's efforts, affirming that Ekiti's agricultural sector is thriving under the governor’s watch.
With Governor Oyebanji at the helm, Ekiti State is steadily advancing towards achieving sustainable food security.
