Oyebanji Approves Car, Housing Loans for TESCOM Staff.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji has approved N138.7 million in loans to support 448 staff members of the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) in the state.

The loans are intended to assist with education and housing needs, starting with deductions from June 2024 salaries. This initiative underscores the governor’s commitment to the well-being and progress of educators and support staff in Ekiti public secondary schools.

The announcement, delivered by the Office of the Permanent Secretary at TESCOM, emphasizes the importance of this initiative in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of staff members across public secondary schools in the state.

Successful applicants are required to follow a streamlined process, including obtaining letters of introduction from their Principals and Bursars, presenting official identification cards, along with copies of their biometric data forms, appointment, and confirmation letters.

The loans, set to kickstart with deductions from June 2024 salaries, reflect Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being and professional development of educators and support staff within Ekiti’s education sector.

This empowering move not only provides financial relief but also serves as a motivating force for continued dedication and excellence in service among the TESCOM workforce.
