The announcement was made by the state Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare, in a statement issued on Wednesday.

According to the commissioner, the 13th-month salaries and pensions were credited to the accounts of government workers and pensioners in the early hours of Wednesday, December 27, 2023, aligning with the governor's earlier commitment.
