The Chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Oluwatuyi Oluwagbenga, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Professor Habibat Omolara Adubiaro on her well-deserved promotion to the esteemed rank of Professor at the Federal University of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE).

Hon. Oluwagbenga described the promotion, effective retroactively from October 1, 2022, as a fitting recognition of Prof. Adubiaro's academic excellence and her dedication to service. He commended her for seamlessly combining her scholarly pursuits with her pivotal role as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Ekiti State.

“Professor Adubiaro’s promotion is a testament to her unwavering commitment to hard work, knowledge, and impactful leadership. As SSG, she has demonstrated exceptional dedication to grassroots development while providing steadfast support to the transformative agenda of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji,” Hon. Oluwagbenga stated.

The local government chairman also used the opportunity to eulogize Governor Oyebanji for his unwavering belief in the brilliance, capacities, and leadership potential of women. “Governor Oyebanji’s inclusion of dynamic women like Professor Adubiaro in his administration reflects his progressive vision and commitment to gender equity. His recognition of women’s contributions continues to empower and inspire future generations to aim higher,” he said.

Hon. Oluwagbenga further praised Prof. Adubiaro’s contributions to good governance and development in Ekiti State, noting that her dual achievements in academia and public service serve as an enduring inspiration. “Her accomplishment is not only a personal milestone but also a testament to the possibilities that arise when brilliance is nurtured and supported,” he added.

The chairman concluded by wishing Prof. Adubiaro continued success in her academic and public service endeavors, expressing confidence that her work will further contribute to the sustainable development of Ekiti State.
