The Nigerian Youth Congress Ekiti State Chapter, under the leadership of Aare Adedara Temitope Moses, has decided to disassociate from national protests for several important reasons. These reasons are centered around the potential challenges and risks associated with such protests, which the Congress believes can be better addressed through dialogue and peaceful engagement:

Taking into cognisance the recent attacks in Ekiti, we cannot afford to put people’s lives at risk any further. This can lead to heightened security measures and a more cautious approach by authorities, which might affect the overall success of the protest.
