In a heartfelt message, Prince Wale Alade-Oba, an APC stalwart and Igede Ekiti-born politician extended warm congratulations to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his 56th birthday and second Christmas on the throne. Expressing his confidence in the Governor's leadership and the positive trajectory of Ekiti State under his watch, Alade-Oba lauded the remarkable progress witnessed during the current administration.

"On this special day 56 years ago, a baby was born into Pa Ezekiel Oyebanji's abode and was christened Biodun Abayomi. That day, little did they know that it was an outstanding leader, torchbearer, and benevolent contributor that was born. We thank God that these had begun to manifest with the enigmatic turnaround of Ekiti fortunes under this current administration," stated Prince Alade-Oba.

Speaking from his country home in Igede, Prince Alade-Oba commended Governor Oyebanji for his unwavering commitment to good governance. He specifically highlighted the Governor's compassionate approach to addressing the needs of elderly citizens, acknowledging the transformative impact on infrastructure through innovative energy programs.

The APC stalwart also praised Governor Oyebanji's outstanding contributions to the educational sector, citing notable achievements and records that have elevated the standard of education in Ekiti State. Alade-Oba expressed appreciation for the consistent and timely payment of pensions and gratuities, underscoring the administration's dedication to the welfare of retirees.

Further, Prince Alade-Oba conveyed gratitude for Governor Oyebanji's appointment of one of Igede's own, Hon. Opeyemi Agbede Smith, as the Senior Special Assistant on Consumer Protection. He highlighted the positive impact of various initiatives, including road rehabilitation, electricity restoration, youth development, job creation, and sports development.

"In his government, he deployed archery in his six-point agenda to score his goals, and he has made tremendous progress in road rehabilitation and construction, restoration of electricity to communities that were in the dark for more than 10 years, youth development and job creation through micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) financing and support, digital skills, vocational skills, Ekiti Knowledge Zone and sports development, even as human capital development is given top priority as in education, infrastructure, healthcare, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and social investment," acknowledged Prince Alade-Oba.

As Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji celebrates another year, Hon. Wale Alade-Oba extends warm prayers for the Governor's well-being, the prosperity of his family, wisdom for his administration crew, and continued progress and harmony for the people of Ekiti State.
