Addressing the circulation of a poster across social media platforms and WhatsApp groups positioning him as a gubernatorial aspirant with the slogan 'Take it Back', Dr. Alake clarified that he has no intention of contesting for the governorship position, neither now nor in the future.

In a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Segun Tomori, Dr. Alake emphasized that the poster in question lacks his endorsement and should be disregarded as it is deemed fraudulent.
