Relieve Nigerians of Pains Now, Omoluabi Team Alliance Socio- cultural and Political Group Cautions President Tinubu.

Relieve Nigerians of Pains Now, Omoluabi Team Alliance Socio- cultural and Political Group Cautions President Tinubu.
Arising from the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of a vibrant socio-cultural group, known as Omoluabi Team Alliance Socio- cultural and Political Group with its presence across the six(6) southwest states including Kwara and parts of Kogi State, members from the various states raised several issues on the agenda for discussion. Top on the agenda of the meeting is the State of the Nation which was described by members as being horrible and tough.

NEC detest with passion the level of poverty, hunger and  untold economic hardship that has seriously bereaved Nigerians in recent times. The group identify slow approach in the manner at which decisions are taken and the slow pace at which such decisions are implemented by the President who is constitutionally recognized as the head of Federal Government. The pain is becoming too much as Nigerians can no longer feed adequately, can no longer fuel their cars while businesses continue to shot down in the face of hike in the price of petroleum products and it's by- products for the fear of making loss. The onus is now on Mr. President to begin to adopt approaches that are appropriate, fast and timely  enough in ameliorating the pains of Nigerians. Nigerians now groan in pains, no food , poor renumeration for workers in the face of inflations which has left many to  live below the minimum benchmark required for a good living standard.

The socio- cultural and political group under the leadership of the National Convener, Omoluabi Jayeola Afolabi reiterated that the group will continue to speak up when it matters, speak truth to power and maintain the ideology and principles of the group which prioritizes good governance at all levels   Mr. President must remember that Nigerians have willingly offered him their mandates in the 2023 Presidential election and so should be reciprocated with good economic policies, absolute riddance to poverty and a reassurance of a renewed hope promised.
The group also known as Egbe Omoluabi advised that Federal Government should be proactive enough and immediately roll out palliatives, make available public buses in all the 36 states of the federation and FCT, adopt the minimum wage plan that is sufficient enough to raise the living status of workers, then think of how to refurbish old refineries and build new ones as the only lasting solution to the present price of petrol known as PMS in the various filling stations across the country.
We advise Mr. President to simply allow the poor breathe as he has repeatedly emphasized in recent times.
However, we pray that may the good spirit of Omoluabi never depart from Mr. President as Nigerias greatly trust in his capacity, competence and  ability to build a new Nigeria with a renewed hope

The Eternal Dance of Time and Seasons: The Key to Human Success.

The Eternal Dance of Time and Seasons: The Key to Human Success.
By: Comr. Olamide Akinwumi

Time and seasons are the eternal and ever-changing elements that govern the course of our lives. As human beings, we are intrinsically intertwined with the passage of time and the cyclical nature of seasons. From ancient civilizations to modern societies, the understanding and appreciation of these phenomena have played a crucial role in shaping human success. This article explores how time and seasons profoundly impact our lives and how harnessing their essence can lead to personal and collective accomplishments.

The Significance of Time in Human Success:
Time is a finite resource, and how we utilize it determines the extent of our achievements. Successful individuals recognize the value of time and adhere to effective time management strategies. They prioritize tasks, set clear goals, and work diligently to accomplish them. Embracing the concept of time as a precious commodity motivates people to be more disciplined, organized, and productive.

Moreover, understanding the impermanence of time encourages individuals to seize opportunities and embrace challenges. Procrastination is the enemy of progress, and those who comprehend the fleeting nature of time are more likely to take action and make the most of every moment. Time also provides a valuable perspective on the journey to success, reminding us that setbacks and failures are temporary roadblocks on the path to achievement.

Seasons as a Metaphor for Human Progress:
The cyclicality of seasons serves as a powerful metaphor for human progress. Just as nature experiences the ebb and flow of seasons, our lives go through periods of growth, stagnation, harvest, and renewal. Recognizing this pattern allows us to better navigate our personal and professional journeys.

• Spring: The Season of Growth and New Beginnings
Spring symbolizes renewal and growth. It is a time of planting seeds and nurturing them until they blossom into fruition. Similarly, in the pursuit of success, individuals must plant the seeds of their dreams and work diligently to cultivate their potential. This season reminds us that every grand achievement starts with small, deliberate steps.

• Summer: The Season of Productivity and Flourishing
Summer is a season of abundance and productivity. The seeds sown in spring come to fruition during this time. Likewise, human success often involves reaping the rewards of hard work and perseverance. Successful individuals embrace their peak moments, leveraging their talents to achieve remarkable results.

• Autumn: The Season of Harvest and Reflection
Autumn marks a period of harvest and reflection. It is a time to reap the benefits of the effort put forth earlier in the year. In the context of human success, autumn represents a time for self-assessment, learning from past experiences, and celebrating achievements. Wise individuals use this period to identify areas of improvement and plan for the future.

• Winter: The Season of Rest and Renewal
Winter is a season of rest and renewal. Just as nature takes a respite to prepare for the next cycle, human beings also need periods of rest to rejuvenate physically, mentally, and emotionally. Taking breaks and practicing self-care are essential to sustain long-term success and prevent burnout.

Synchronizing with Time and Seasons: To achieve true success, it is essential to synchronize with the rhythm of time and seasons:

• Embrace Change: Like the changing seasons, life is filled with transformations. Embracing change rather than resisting it allows for personal growth and adaptation.

• Adaptability: Seasons demonstrate the importance of adaptability. Successful individuals are flexible and adjust their strategies when necessary, much like nature adapts to different seasons.

• Patience and Perseverance: Just as crops take time to grow, human endeavors require patience and perseverance. Success seldom comes overnight, but consistent effort yields fruitful outcomes.

• Setting Realistic Expectations: Understanding the cyclicality of life helps in setting realistic expectations. Success might not be constant, but knowing that it will return encourages individuals to stay focused during challenging times.

Time Management Advice for Success:
• Set Clear Goals: Define your short-term and long-term goals to give your actions purpose and direction. Break down larger goals into smaller, manageable tasks.

• Prioritize Wisely: Identify tasks based on their urgency and importance using techniques like the Eisenhower Matrix. Focus on high-priority tasks first, and avoid time-wasting activities.

• Create a Schedule: Develop a daily or weekly schedule that allocates time for work, family, personal growth, and leisure. Stick to this routine to build positive habits.

• Avoid Procrastination: Procrastination is a time thief. Recognize the factors contributing to your procrastination and take proactive steps to overcome them.

• Learn to Say No: Respect your time by learning to say no to commitments that don't align with your goals. Focus on what truly matters to you.

• Embrace Flexibility: Life is unpredictable, and plans may change. Be flexible in your approach and adapt to unexpected circumstances while staying focused on your objectives.

• Use Time Management Tools: Utilize tools like calendars, productivity apps, and to-do lists to stay organized and on track.

In Conclusion, time and seasons are fundamental aspects of our existence that significantly influence human success. By appreciating the value of time, managing it wisely, and aligning ourselves with the cyclical nature of seasons, we can attain personal and collective accomplishments. The eternal dance of time and seasons offers valuable insights into the essence of human progress and serves as a guiding light on our journey to success.

The hawk also replied that it would heal a part of his body that had become non functional.

AlΓ‘tiαΉ£e told the hawk to give him a few moments and return after a few hours.
Both replies caused AlΓ‘tiαΉ£e a lot of worry on what to do so he called his three wives to seek for their advices.

There is a popular YorΓΉbΓ‘ proverb which says: A kìí je mΓjΓ¬ l'Γ‘bΓ  Γ€lΓ dΓ©. We do not eat two things at Γ€lΓ dΓ©'s compound.

There is a popular YorΓΉbΓ‘ proverb which says: A kìí je mΓjΓ¬ l'Γ‘bΓ  Γ€lΓ dΓ©.
We do not eat two things at Γ€lΓ dΓ©'s compound.
Let me tell you the full story behind this proverb so you will know when to use such proverb.
The story is from sacred OdΓΉ IfΓ‘ OgbΓ¨ Ofun and the verse goes thus:

A s'ore ìsetÑn níí jé méè l'óríyìn
AdΓfΓ‘ fΓΊn Γ€lΓ dΓ© onΓwΓ tΓ‘
TΓ Ε„ lo rèé dΓ‘'ko Γ¨bΓ‘ Γ²nΓ n
Ebo wΓ³n nΓ Γ³ se

Half good deeds doesn't makes one to be appreciated
These were Ifa declarations to Γ€lΓ dΓ© onΓwΓ tΓ‘.

When going to farm at the road side

He was advised to offer ẹbọ

Γ€lΓ dΓ© decided that he wants to be doing good to people so that everyone can always praise him for his good deeds now and after he's no more.

He decided to plant Yam at the road side and he made this yam free for those who are starving. He also provided a very big bowl of water beside it.

If you passed by his farm hungry or thirsty, you've got no worries.

But he had a rule and a popular saying which was:

A kìí je mΓjΓ¬ l'Γ‘bΓ  Γ€lΓ dΓ©
We do not eat two things at Γ€lΓ dΓ©'s compound. You can only eat one thing at A time.

Either you eat roasted yam and forget about water or you drink water and leave roasted yam for others.

The people in his community are already used to this law of his, so he became so popular and well-known for his "half good deed"

One day, two strangers traveling From a far distance, tired, sweating profusely, staggering, starving and thirsty got to his farm.

They were so happy to see ready roasted yam on fire and drinkable water beside it.

As they sat down to eat, Γ€lΓ dΓ© interrupted and said: "Welcome to my farm, I hope you are aware that you can only choose one thing here.

You either drink water and take your leave or you eat Yam till you are satisfied, then leave"

This two strangers thought to themselves that it's better for them to eat Yam and go source for water elsewhere.

They started eating and eating as if they've got a calabash in their stomach but who will blame them? They were starving!

Don't forget that Roasted yam requires drinking water as you are eating it.

They ate to a stage that the roasted yam got stuck in their throats.

They begged Γ€lΓ dΓ© for water but he refused and claimed that "A deal is a deal".

To cut the long story short, the two strangers drop dead.

People started clamouring that Γ€lΓ dΓ© killed them.

The people in the community ushered Γ€lΓ dΓ© with lot of Beating and Slapping to the king's palace.

When he got to the palace, he explained all that happened to the king.

The king then told him that "if you know you can't do a complete and rewarding good to people, why bother to do any at all?"

Why give an orange to someone who doesn't have Two hands and not peel it?

So the king pronounced his judgement and a proper purnishment was given to Γ€lΓ dΓ© as deserved.

It now became popular in the community that: “A kìí je mΓjΓ¬ l'Γ‘bΓ  Γ€lΓ dΓ© lΓ³ kΓ³bΓ‘ Γ€lΓ dΓ©

We do not eat two things at Γ€lΓ dΓ©'s compound is what got Γ€lΓ dΓ© into trouble.

I hope you learn one or two things from this.

Oyebanji at MOB’s birthday lecture, hails President Tinubu on human capital development.

Oyebanji at MOB’s birthday lecture, hails President Tinubu on human capital development.
EKiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has said Ekiti people will remain ever grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for building a host of leaders from within the state and around the country.

Governor Oyebanji stated this in his remarks at the lecture and Book Presentation marking the 60th birthday of the Senate Majority Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja on Tuesday.

Governor Oyebanji, who explained that President Tinubu, had over the years, invested heavily in human capital development, raising many political and economic leaders in the country, described Senator Bamidele as one of the leading lights and pratical example of the president's investment in his mentees.

He said Senator Bamidele had utilized every opportunity to justify the confidence reposed in him, adding that the superlative performance of the Senate Leader in all the public offices he has held remains a source of pride to his mentor, the President, and the people of Ekiti State.

Oyebanji said: “We are here today to celebrate Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, But the real celebrator is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who saw In MOB what MOB did not see in himself.

“I remember a time during the campaign for the general elections when the President visited the Palace of the Ewi Of Ado-Ekiti. At that time an indigene of Ado-Ekiti was bidding to come to the Senate from the PDP. Some of the people were saying that they would vote Asiwaju and vote PDP for the Senate since the PDP candidate was from their town.

“Asiwaju came and addreesed the people, narrating how he sent MOB to school and the cordial relationship he had maintained with him overtime, telling us in Ekiti that he needed Opeyemi at the Senate. What Asiwaju said at the palace changed the political narrative.

“Today, my brother, you are the Senate leader and we can now see why the President was trying to say.

“We thanked the President for investing so much in you and we thank the people of Lagos State for polishing you for us in Ekiti. We must also thank the leadership of the Senate for finding you worthy of this position, and we assure them that they have found the very right person fit and proper for the job.”

The Governor said Senator Bamidele had not disappointed his mentor and the people of EKiti State through his humility and leadership style, which according to him, is based on selflessness, dignity and integrity.

He lauded the Senate Leader’s positive contribution to the political and economic growth of the state, saying that he imported his political experience in Lagos for the development of EKiti State as well as replicating the lessons of discovering and positioning people for greatness as well as dialogue in solving knotty issues.
