Fatoba Facilitates Training, Empowerment Of Youth And Women On Poultry Production.

In fulfilment of his electoral promise to reduce poverty rate and make his constituents more self-reliance, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve, has again facilitated training and empowerment of youth and women on poultry production in Ado/Irepodun-Ifelodun local governments.
The training and empowerment programme was carried out in collaboration with National Center For Women Development(NCWD) on Saturday in Ado-Ekiti.
The Director General of NCWD who was represented by Mrs Adedayo Ademola in her brief remark said the sole aim of the agency was to collaborate with the lawmaker to train and empower people in his constituency on Agriculture which poultry production is an integra part.
She stated further that agriculture is very crucial to the growth of our economy.
The D.G called on the over one hundred beneficiaries to utilize the opportunity given to them as this will make them self-reliance and contribute to the growth of the economy.
"This training and empowerment programme was done in collaboration with Hon. Fatoba to make our people more self-reliance and reduce the rate of poverty among our women and youths.
"Agriculture is one of the ways to contribute to the growth of our economy. Agriculture cannot be out of existence. It is very important for the survival of our economy.
"We admonish the beneficiaries of this training and empowerment programme to make use of this great opportunity"
Earlier, the local government party Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ado-Ekiti, Hon. Mike Akinleye spoke glowingly about the giant strides of the Reps member in his constituency in terms of attraction of physical capital projects and life-changing programs.
He called on the beneficiaries to work for the victory of Fatoba in the February 18 House of Reps. election for more effective representation.
"Hon Fatoba that we know teaches his people on how to be self-reliance. Many training and empowerment programs has been facilitated by him which I am living witness.
"I want to urge beneficiaries of this program not to sell what will be given to them as empowerment after the training. I want to also implore you to please give your support and votes to Hon. Fatoba who is seeking for re-election"
The beneficiaries who were empowered with various poultry items which include Broilers, pullets, Noila, Cockerel, feeds, metal pound feed, hand glove, round feeder, Apron and cash gift showed their profound appreciation to the lawmaker and prayed for his continual success.
