  • FEDPOFFA ELECT Adigun Abiola AS NEW SUG President

  • A 22-year-old, Azeez Adigun ABIOLA popularly known as Adigun has been declared the winner of the just concluded Student Union Government, SUG, the election of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara state.

  • Adigun, an HND II student of Food Science and Technology, won the electronic voting after polling 5,550 votes, against his counterpart Bello Nurudeen, who polled 2,032 votes.

  • The new SUG president and his crew from the Reformation movement won all the 15 posts in the E-voting.

  • Adigun thanked all the electoral umpire, says, “Words can not express how happy I’m and reformation movement at large for this victory of our concluded election, at the beginning it was tough and rough, is it before we were slated to contest under Reformation movement we want to say or after we have been slated, is it class to class campaign we want to talk or face to face, but to God be the glory for success plus victory as last”.

  • “I say a very big thanks to the DSA Mr. Gbenga Alemino and his team, also Appreciate the effort of the ICEC Committee for the credible free and fair Election they conduct. I say a gigantic thanks to you all and pledge works commence with an impending alacrity for we believe injustice to one is an injustice to all.

  • Meanwhile, his running mate from the opposition Liberation Movement, Bello faulted the process, lamented non-transparency in the poll stated that some students reported a case of illegal use of their Matriculation number and Surname which is the requirement of voting in the E-voting; to cast vote without their consent
