Omoluabi Team Alliance Socio-Cultural and Political Group Writes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Mr. President and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, permit me to  congratulate you on the occasion of your swearing-in and assumption of office as the 6th democratically elected president of Nigeria. As democrats let me in this letter not join others to tag you the 16th President like you are tagged in most media outfits. It is no other reason than the fact that only leaders who secured the mandates of the people through the ballots should be recognized by true democrats. You belong to this category of leaders in the annals of history. I must say categorically that your rise to stardom is monumental, timely and a well deserved feat that reflects the story of a man whose emergence wasn't accidental but incidental. No doubt your love and loyalty to Nigeria with so much zeal to pursue your targeted goal has brought you this far.

Your Excellency. it becomes pertinent to write this open letter to you at this time when you are about to fully settle down to face the task and responsibilities the nation has handed over to you premised on the fact that you  voluntarily requested for it.  G.Youths and Senior Citizens:
Mr. President. the teeming youths are also very important and vital to the attention of your administration.  Remember they opposed you with a protest vote which is enough to tell you they are a strong force to reckon with. It is now up to you to put up policies, programmes and agenda that are youth friendly. Engage the youths in governance, empower the youths and let them feel your impact across all sectors. Your administration will have nothing to loose if you deem it fit to return power to the 774 local governments across the country. This is the third tier of government that is much more closer to the people. It will be needful to say that the  effectiveness and efficiency in the implementation of most state and federal government policies and programmes have their impacts felt most in the local government areas which play hosts to  wards, units and even sub- units existing at the doorposts of the masses. All these you can achieve without procrastination. Remember if you do, you get the accolades and your name written eternally on gold.
Above all remember your source, your home, your own constituency and immediate kinsmen in the scheme of things for the sake of an agenda that must be preserved and maintained intact. We have all toiled for your success, offered our blessings and gave our full supports that have yielded good fruits. We all toiled day night from our various corners to see that your aspirations come true. You represent an ideology, a political  school of thought that must not be betrayed under any. circumstance. Remember the duo of late  Awolowo and MKO Abiola meant well for this country. We want you to do better than they have ever thought or meant for this country.

Continue to be a progressive and a thorough bred democrat you are known for.
May the good spirit of Omoluabi never depart from you President Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR).

OYEBANJI CONGRATULATES NEW PRESIDENT, TINUBU.

OYEBANJI CONGRATULATES NEW PRESIDENT, TINUBU.
…..Says Nigeria in Safe Hands for Sustainable Development.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated the new President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his successful inauguration as the nation’s helmsman.

The Governor in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media , Yinka Oyebode, also congratulated all Nigerians on the successful completion of the process of transition of power from one administration to another, adding that the seamless transition is an attestation to the growth of democratic culture in the country.

Oyebanji hailed Nigerians for keeping faith with the All Progressives Congress (APC) by electing its flag bearer, President Tinubu at the February 25 presidential poll and accepting his manifesto of Renewed Hope as an instrument of taking Nigeria to the harbour of prosperity and fulfillment.

The Ekiti Governor said with President Tinubu in the driving seat, Nigeria is in safe hands for sustainable development, economic revival, sustenance of infrastructure renewal, reduction of poverty, wealth and job creation and fulfillment of electoral promises made in the lead-up to the presidential poll.

Attesting to the new President’s competence to make a difference in running a government that will live up to expectations, Oyebanji described President Tinubu as an administrator that has the wealth of experience to turn the fortunes of Nigeria around positively within his tenure of office.

The Governor noted that it was remarkable for Nigeria to have carried out seven consecutive and successful transition since return to democracy in 1999 expressing confidence that the country’s democracy has grown in leaps and bounds and has come to stay.

He described the Renewed Hope agenda of President Tinubu as a blueprint carefully packaged to provide panacea to all challenges confronting the polity across the various sectors.

The Governor also congratulated the immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari on the successful completion of his two terms of four years each and for superintending over a successful general election which has just birthed an equally successful transfer of power.

While noting that though expectations are very high as the new administration settles down to the serious business of governance, Oyebanji urged Nigerians to be patient with the new President and his team as they implement their agenda to take Nigeria to a higher pedestal of development.

“I urge Nigerians irrespective of their political, ethnic and religious affiliations to pray for the success of President Tinubu and support him to realize his dream of a prosperous Nigeria that will fully realize its potentials.

“The elections have come and gone, President Tinubu is now the father of the nation; he is not a President of his political party or a section of the country but the President of the whole entity called Nigeria.

“President Tinubu has demonstrated competence as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria during which he was Chairman of Senate Committee on Banking and Currency and during his stellar two-term tenure as the Governor of Lagos State which has remained a reference point in governance in Nigeria.

“The government and people of Ekiti State wish our new President a very successful tenure of office and we are assuring him of our readiness to partner with him to ensure a greater, stronger, more united and prosperous Nigeria.” The Governor said.

The Man Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Indeed A Long Walk from Bourdillion to Aso Rock Villa, Victory at Last.

The Man Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Indeed A  Long Walk from Bourdillion to Aso Rock Villa, Victory at Last.
Congratulations to the man of the moment, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as he journeys from his bourdillon home located in the city of Lagos to the power house of the most populous Africa nation, the Aso Rock Villa. Congratulations to the very many admirers and lovers of the one time Governor of Lagos State for their unrepentant show of love for the city boy who is known to have several brands of names and nomenclatures among which are the  Jagaban, the Capoon, Asiwaju, king of bourdillon among others. His success story today  is no doubt the outcome of perseverance, tolerance, commitment, zealousness, hardwork, determination and a personal resolution to achieve such magnitude of success. It takes an extraordinary man with the lion' s heart to keep pushing and breaking barriers even when the journey seems impossible. Worst of it all is when even closest allies, assumed confidants and disciples connive with external forces to make the journey and the walk into stardom look unattainable and unachievable.

The man Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown the world that he is the man with lions heart and when there is  need to roar, it is best to roar out at the highest pitch not minding whose ox is gored. This manifested in his 'Emilokan' slogan which became the talk of town and even prayer points in most Nigerian churches and other worship centers. The rest has become history but same  history will also not forget those who joined the enemies in making several attempts at thwarting the journey into the villa for the man of the people. It was a battle even initiated by fellow kinsmen who saw no need for the southwest agenda because of the possibility of a king maker becoming a king himself. Some also felt making a power broker, political godfather and political warlord an occupant of the Aso villa may be too much  a portfolio  for a man who has got it all and seen it all. Well they are now left to see what God can do that no man can stop. Asiwaju is far ahead and now on top. Congratulations to the man who won the battle amidst stiff opposition even from among his kinsmen.

The journey is indeed a long walk from the bourdillion into Aso Rock Villa. No doubt his qualities are adequate for the office of President. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the  intellectual capacity to administer and provide the direction needed to move the country forward from obscurity to limelight. He is a civilized man , well exposed, has the tenacity and charisma to stir the big ship called Nigeria.

He is a detribalized Nigerian and not a religious extremist. He has confidence in himself and a leader with focus.  Judge him base on all these attributes that speaks volume of his person, then you will agree with the writer that Nigeria is absolutely in a safe hand. Let us roll out the drums and dance to the tunes of victory as we see a new Nigeria begin to manifest beginning from today May 29th, 2023.

However, transiting from bourdillion to the Presidential lodge is a feat made possible by destiny.  He will now reside with the first family for atleast four(4) years in the villa. Certainly it  will be moments to play back the words of haters at least for a man who many said was too old and weak health- wise to provide the kind of leadership Nigeria wants at this time. Many of his close allies opposed his emergence and fought hard to stop him as they continually work hand in hand with cabals who had access to the instrument of power to avert his dream. Today all that plot has become history while we leave them to lick their wounds. The city boy has become the nation's emperor and will provide leadership in the next four years which will certainly reposition the country and refix the very many shortcomings of the country.

The emergence of Asiwaju is a blessing to Nigeria and Nigerians irrespective of our differing opinions and thoughts in his ability to deliver our very many expectations as a people. However, the truth is that the expectations of Nigerians are very high and a lot is expected from the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu   led administration. We cannot pretend or shy away from the fact that the last administration under President Muhammud Buhari achieved only little in his economic agenda and policies which enstrangled the country for the entire eight years. Notable among his weaknesses was the high rate of insecurity which made  Nigeria unsafe for all.Though in some other areas like infrastructure, judiciary and credible electoral process it will be fair to rate PMB high.

As admirers and non admirers, as haters and lovers , supporters and non supporters, as allies and non allies of the newest president in town, we all must agree that with the emergence of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR), a new Nigeria of our dream is certainly here and we must all give our supports and offer our prayers to the God -chosen leader of our nation.
May he Bola Ahmed Tinubu succeed.

Long Live Jagaban of Africa

“If Oga(Fayemi) were to be Governor by now, most of this I am doing is what he will be doing because this is something we’ve put down together in the developing plan, which is guiding what I am doing.

“So I appeal to our people, particularly on social media. I don’t have control over what you say but I appeal to you to moderate your comments. Governor Fayemi is my leader I will continue to respect him, he’s has done a lot for this state and still doing it and he needs your prayers for him to do more for us.”

Oyebanji added that his government has paid a staggering sum of N6.2 billion as subvention to state's tertiary institutions geared towards strengthening the citadels of learning and make them competitive nationally and with their contemporaries in other climes.
Governor  Oyebanji stated these in Ido -Ekiti , Ido/Osi Local Government area, on Friday, at a stakeholders engagement marking his 200 days in office. Oyebanji explained that aside the payment of salaries, pensions and deductions regularly, another sum of $80 million from the African Development Bank (AfDB) would be injected into the local economy to create more jobs for the youths through the Ekiti Knowledge Zone that has just been granted Free Trade status by the Federal Government.

The Governor identified agriculture, tourism, digital technology, entertainment and sports development as critical to the job creation initiatives of his administration.
Oyebanji disclosed that the Independent Power Project started by the immediate past administration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi would come on stream in July to give uninterrupted power supply to government offices, institutions and streetlights in Ado Ekiti describing the amount being spent on diesel monthly as "unsustainable."

The Governor disclosed that  he has taken giant steps to curtail incidences of brain drain in the health sector and redundancy in the civil service, by gradually defraying  outstanding allowances for doctors, other medical staff and the workers in general.

Oyebanji added that  the government had carried out 7,949 metres of channelisation and dredging in areas suspected to be critically prone to flooding and erosion in Ado and Ikere Ekiti, to curtail unwarranted loss of lives and property to stormy rainfall  .

On infrastructural development, Oyebanji, said his government has  completed the  Ado-Ilawe-Erinjiyan road, while aggressive works are  ongoing on Ikole , Ado township roads, while other inter-city access roads across the state are enjoying attention to make them motorable.

He added; "All the roads we are going to construct are ones that will bring prosperity. Those that will boost trading, farming and ease the  movement of  farm products to the market centres. We will be strategic by targeting our agricultural belt".

In the area of tourism, Oyebanji said his government has been investing heavily on Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort Centre, which he achieved through strong collaboration with a private sector to make the tourist attraction site more economically beneficial.

To propel investment and local business, Oyebanji, promised to reconnect Ayekire , Ekiti East and Gbonyin local governments that have been in perpetual darkness for over a decade to the national grid within the next two months.

Oyebanji said his administration would change the face of agriculture by motivating farmers into  commercial farming, while impetuses like land preparation policy, while also distributing inputs like  fertilisers, seedlings and other farm implements to farmers at subsidised rates.

Cataloguing his achievements  in the human capital development, he said the government is gradually decentralizing the insurance policy to the local areas, so that poor masses can access treatments in health centres at little or no cost.

“I’ve released all Local Government money - Oyebanji."

“I’ve released all Local Government money - Oyebanji."
..…Commends auditors for quality service, accountability.
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on Thursday said his administration has released all monies accruable to the 16 local government councils from the Federation Account since assuming office about seven months ago.

Governor Oyebanji stated this on while receiving the Auditor-General for Local Government, Dr (Mrs) Iyadunni Oke noted that local government administrators no longer have reason not to develop their areas.

He added that his administration had given necessary approval for people-oriented projects expected to be carried out by the local government councils which would also be monitored regularly by a team from his office in order to ensure compliance.

The Governor said, “I decided to invite the ALGON chairman here so that he will listen to my own view on this matter, since we came to office and now, we have released all the monies meant for local governments to them and I know that all the local governments have been given approval for one project or the other.

“just two weeks ago, we set up a monitoring team from my office to go and inspect the status of all these projects. I also hope with respect to both the capital expenditure and the recurrent, the audit department are also doing their job because local government is so critical to service delivery, they are the nearest to the people.”

Oyebanji commended the crop of quality Auditors being paraded at both state and local government levels for their commitment and dexterity at delivering quality service which had led to efficient management of the state’s resources and exposure of shady deals.

He stressed the need for top civil servants to mentor younger ones that would effectively take their position when they eventually bow out of service and ensure continuity of quality service delivery in all sectors.

“I will like to place on record that accountability is very key to service delivery, the six pillars are just aspirations and if care is not taken they will remain in that realm, if the structure to implement are not accountable because the currency is money, the lubricant is money but the vehicles are individuals that will spend this money must be accountable.

And that is why your office is so critical to the delivery and implementation of the six pillars development agenda.

“I must say this openly that the quality of Auditors we have at the state and the local government levels are top notch. I can vouch for their integrity.”

Earlier, the State Auditor-General for local government, Dr Iyadunni Oke, who thanked Governor Oyebanji for appointing her to that exalted position, promised to carry out the responsibility of that position to bring improvement to the state’s accounts as well as ensure continued commitment of rank and file members of her office.

To drive her vision for effective auditing in the state, the Auditor-General, who is also the first female to occupy the position noted that actualization of the six pillar of this administration would require a virile and effective auditing that would be hinged on monitoring of both financial and personnel budget of all local government and LCDA’s, ensure that due process was followed in all the activities of the state and ensure that there is value for money in all programmes, and policies of government.

She also stressed the importance effective auditing on all government undertaking, occasional investigation into the special programmes of government for the attention of the Governor and training and retraining of all Auditors in the state to ensure success of all government policies.

It is amazing how Gov. Oyebanji does effective engagement alongside project inspection.

It is amazing how Gov. Oyebanji does effective engagement alongside project inspection.
Any government that wants to succeed must  connect with the people genuinely. You can never go wrong with engaging the people meaningfully .

We have seen some individuals and communities  get their problems solved without stepping into the Governor’s office because often times ,Governor Oyebanji takes the office to them . Seeing the Governor in their midst  , they tell him their collective challenges  and they get to hear his view on the spot . This is the real deal - taking governance to the people .

Some call it streets politics but I call it spontaneous community engagement. A strong feedback mechanism because it affords the Governor to receive first hand information .

At yesterday’s project inspection by Mr Governor, aside the usual prayers ,funny nick names and hailings we get to hear 😁,  three  events stood out  at the inspection :

1. The Governor saw a lady making shoes at her shop . He dashed in to encourage her for having the courage to pick up a skill that is psychologically tagged to men . Mr Governor engaged her and promised to support her business.

2.  A female tricyclist in the community offered to give Mr Governor a ride in her trycicle , he obliged her. While in the trycicle (keke- napep ) ,he engaged her and got to know she wasn’t the owner of the keke, not even on installment arrangement . Mr Governor promised to empower her with a trycicle the next day. She was shivering when she heard .

3. The Chairman ,landlord association of the community engaged the Governor. Raised some concerns about the community which were instantly addressed.

When Governor Oyebanji said in his inaugural speech that , “ We assure the people that we will hear you and truly see you. Our outlook is a government of the people, for the people, by the people through active involvement” , he wasn’t joking .

"Don't Joke With Your Health, Oyebanji Advises Top Civil Servants."

"Don't Joke With Your Health, Oyebanji Advises Top Civil Servants."
The Governor of Ekiti State, Hon Biodun Oyebanji, has advised civil servants in the State civil service to attach great importance to their health and strike a balance between work and rest to avert untimely death.

Governor Oyebanji gave the advice, on Monday, while flagging off the construction of the Ekiti State Civil Service Senior Staff Club and Recreation Centre in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.

The foundation laying ceremony which was withnessed by the deputy Governor, *Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye* Speaker of the state Assembly, *Rt Hon Olubunmi Adelugba*, labour leaders and top government officials was done immediately after the workers day taly at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion Ado Ekiti.

The Governor, who  described the project as historic, urged top government functionaries to always strike a balance between their statutory state duties and issues that have direct link with their  health status.

Governor Oyebanji added that the project will help in creating a social and mental balancing for workers of all categories when completed, particularly serving as a rendezvous, where workers can meet and exchange ideas under a relaxed atmosphere.

He said; "This  is a very good project and it is coming at the most auspucious time. I want you to cultivate the habit of working without necessarily stressing yourselves up.

"I want you to be resting. You have to strike a balance between your works and your health. Please, this is important because  it is only those that are healthy that can perform their duties".

Dousing the fear raised by the workers that financing the project would be herculean, Governor Oyebanji, said; "Don't be afraid at all. Any project that has a figure or estimate will surely be completed one day .

"You are the one  administering  the state at the civil service level. If you can administer the State, you can easily make a success of this project. As a believer in this project, , I will rally round you by reaching out to my friends to make donations .

"If you can set your priority right and set the right target, in the next one year, this project must have been completed".

Speaking at the occasion, the Head of Service, Barrister Bamidele Agbede, said the senior staff play critical roles in the implementation of government's policies and deserved to have a recreation centre of its own.

Describing the project as a veritable opportunity  to promote the social and mental wellbeing of the civil servants, Agbede stated that the  project was a loud testimony to the commitment of the workers to support the government's developmental strides .

He added: "The establishment of a recreation centre for senior civil servants  was  long overdue. But my fear had always been how to finance this kind of a project, taking cognisance of the state's lean resources.”

The Head of Service appealed to private bodies, organisations  and individuals to donate generously towards completing the project. Which he said would help in transforming the civil servants and increase their productivity.
